All the expertise of CMC Marine alongside the University of Naples to hold the "Sea-keeping and Stabilisation of Large Yachts" course, part of the Erasmus BIP - Blended Intensive Programme. From 5 to 9 June, some of the most prestigious naval engineering schools from all over Europe were hosted at CMC Marine headquarters for the last session of trainings dedicated to the future of superyacht stabilisation.
CMC Marine leads new generations towards innovation. Two weeks ago, CMC Marine hosted 25 marine engineering students, and their professors, from University of Naples “Federico II”, La Coruña, Hamburg and Zagreb, to attend the last session of the Erasmus BIP – Blended Intensive Programme “Sea-keeping and Stabilization of Large Yachts”.
The aim of the BIP, organized by University of Naples in collaboration with CMC Marine, was to teach the students all CMC Marine expertise in terms of superyachts stabilization and seakeeping.
The course, coordinated by Ermina Begovic - appointed professor of Sea-keeping at University of Naples Federico II -, started last April and was composed of 9 lessons that ended up two weeks ago, with the presentation of 4 complete projects created by the students and exposed during the last lesson at CMC Marine Headquarters in Cascina (Pisa).
Veronica Festa, Sales Director of CMC Marine, said “It has been incredible to see how the young engineers are growing up and have excellent technical skills. Seeing their enthusiasm in working on real projects, with people from CMC Marine's R&D and Technical Department. The #BIP has allowed them to understand that there is a real world to deal with behind the desk”.
