F.lli Razeto & Casareto at METSTRADE for the 35th Time: Design, Material and Future

For thirty-five consecutive editions, F.lli Razeto & Casareto has taken part in METSTRADE in Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade fair for nautical accessories, components and marine supply. For the company from Sori, it is an appointment that embodies continuity and international recognition: a journey that began decades ago and that today continues in the same exhibition space as always, the familiar Hall 12 – Stand 12.101. Over the years, this location has become a true “prominent landmark” for the professional visitors navigating the show — a reliable reference point in an event that brings together the top players of the global yachting industry.

Within this context, F.lli Razeto & Casareto presents at METSTRADE 2025 a selection of new products that demonstrate how design, technology and material research can evolve without losing the connection to more than a century of craftsmanship. Founded in 1920, the company continues to explore new design languages and aesthetic solutions expressed through three guiding concepts for this year’s innovations: Iconicity, Lightness and Transformism.

The idea of iconicity takes shape in the Oblò handle, designed by Bernardo Zuccon. This object is a tribute to maritime culture and the functional elegance of nautical design: a pure, essential circle capable of expressing an almost archetypal balance. Its strength lies in its simplicity and in its ability to evoke the marine world at a glance, turning an everyday element into a recognisable sign. The recent victory at the Iconic Awards confirms the value of this intuition, where artisanal tradition and contemporary design merge in a rare and enduring synthesis.

Lightness emerges in the Chrissie handle, designed by Christophe Chedal Anglay. Conceived especially for high-performance sailing yachts, where weight reduction is a fundamental design principle, Chrissie interprets essentiality not as subtraction but as harmony between form and function. Its clean, aerodynamic lines make it suitable for different interior applications — from cabin doors to service areas — demonstrating how lightness can become an aesthetic language that connects technology, ergonomics and visual sensitivity.

The third concept, transformism, is expressed through the Eurekart collection, designed by Giangi Razeto and crafted from FSC-certified Nordic birch plywood, sourced from responsibly managed forests. Here, the material itself becomes the protagonist: natural wood layers combined with water-based colours create surfaces reminiscent of landscapes, echoing the tones and patterns of the canyons of the American West. Each handle is unique, shaped by the dialogue between nature and technique. The manufacturing process uses non-toxic methods and eco-friendly resins, confirming the company’s commitment to a concrete, measurable and certified approach to sustainability.

Together, these products convey a vision in which aesthetics, function and responsibility are woven together. F.lli Razeto & Casareto continues to interpret the world of yachting not merely as an industrial sector, but as a place where materials, forms and everyday gestures help define a more conscious, refined and contemporary onboard experience. METSTRADE — long recognised as the key stage for the global marine supply industry — once again becomes the ideal venue to show how a century of history can engage in a living dialogue with the future through design, product culture and an innovative mindset that remains faithful to the company’s identity.
