The Barcelona International Boat Show is further enhancing the quality of its exhibition offering with the participation of leading national and international brands, alongside new sectors and experiential areas, with the aim of bringing together the entire nautical community. With 170 direct exhibitors, more than 300 represented brands and over 200 boats on display, the event consolidates its position in its 63rd edition as Spain’s leading nautical trade fair and one of the most important in Europe.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the Spanish National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), the show will take place from 14 to 18 October, featuring a wide selection of boats from major brands across all length categories, as well as one of the largest catamaran displays on the European boating exhibition calendar.

This year, the Moll de la Fusta and Marina Port Vell quays will host a strong representation of the sector’s leading national and international companies, showcasing their latest innovations in a market increasingly driven by innovation and sustainability, both on the water and ashore.

Prestigious brands and shipyards attending include the Beneteau Group, the world-leading French recreational boat manufacturer, represented through its brands Beneteau, Jeanneau, Lagoon and Excess, covering both motorboats and sailing yachts. The group will be joined by companies such as Mercury, Fjord, Bluegame, Navan, Quicksilver, Sea Ray and X-Yachts.

Notably, premium sailing yacht brands Oyster, Amel and YYachts are returning to the Barcelona International Boat Show after several years of absence. The event will also feature a significant presence from Spanish shipyards including Amura, Kattum, Lema and Pantiera, all recognised for their highly innovative designs.

Other participating brands include Aventura, Bali, De Antonio Yachts, Dufour, Girbau, Highfield, Honda, Karnic, Kawasaki, Kumbra, Leopard, Level, Maxim, Pardo, Pirelli, Raymarine, Sasga, Saxdor and Sunreef, helping to create one of the strongest and most diverse line-ups in recent years.

Boats Afloat and Ashore

Among the more than 200 boats displayed both in the water and on land, visitors will find a world premiere, the YYachts Y6, a 19.65-metre sailing yacht, as well as a Spanish debut, the YOT 53 catamaran equipped with twin outboard engines. Eight boats nominated for the European Yacht of the Year Awards will also be exhibited. The show will feature vessels of all sizes, including 14 boats measuring over 16 metres, among them the Amel 50.2, Cranchi 62 LAI, Pearl 63 and Beneteau First 60.

The Port Vell quays will also showcase a wide range of boats on land, including the Bayliner C21 OB, Williams Jet Tender TurboJet 280 MX, Tiger Infinity 280 and Highfield UL 240.

According to the show’s president, Luis Conde: “We are facing one of the finest editions of recent years, with an exceptional offering in terms of quality, diversity of models and range of boat sizes. We are especially proud that the industry’s leading brands continue to strengthen their commitment to Barcelona. In addition, we are introducing new areas and experiences that make the show the major meeting point for anyone looking to discover, buy or enjoy the nautical world.”

New Sectors and Experiences

The Moll de la Fusta will host two of this year’s major innovations. Under the SeaMotion banner, it will feature Experience Water, a new area dedicated to on-water demonstrations of products and accessories, as well as the new Indoor Pavilion, which will include two themed zones.

The first, Marinas & Harbour Facilities, will highlight the role of marinas as key infrastructures for the nautical sector and maritime tourism, with the direct and indirect participation of more than 240 marina facilities. The second, Diving, Shopping & Water Sports, will promote diving, water sports and the boating lifestyle among professionals and enthusiasts alike.

The show is also strengthening its commitment to innovation and sustainable boating through the launch of the Innovation Dock, a new area featuring 100% electric boats and gadgets. Combining a land-based exhibition with on-water demonstrations, the space will offer visitors a comprehensive overview of the latest nautical mobility solutions designed to reduce emissions and noise pollution.

In addition, sea trials aimed at prospective boat buyers will be expanded to help visitors make informed purchasing decisions and further position the Barcelona International Boat Show as the European event offering the widest range of such experiences. In this context, the show will also host the traditional Barcelona International Rowing Trophy.

The event’s gastronomic offering will be concentrated at Marina Port Vell, featuring a selection of high-quality bars and restaurants, as well as a networking and hospitality area. Two new dining spaces will also be added at Moll de la Fusta.

The event director, Josep Antoni Llopart, stated: “This year, we want to bring together the entire nautical community. That is why we have designed a highly diverse offering aimed at everyone, from those looking to buy a boat to those wishing to take their first steps into the fascinating world of boating.”

Conference Programme and Industry Outlook

For professionals, Marina Port Vell will host the show’s conference programme, Ágora-Port, from 14 to 16 October, coordinated by the Port of Barcelona and Barcelona Clúster Nàutic. Over three days, 25 speakers will address topics such as nautical training, the relationship between ports and cities, new forms of recreational boating consumption, and the future of accessible sailing.

According to Jordi Carrasco, Director General of ANEN: “The nautical sector is undergoing a period of transformation, facing challenges related to competitiveness, training, sustainability and new ways of accessing boating. The Barcelona show is a key platform for taking the pulse of the industry and sharing companies’ perspectives on the main challenges and opportunities emerging in this new environment.”

According to ANEN, based on data provided by the Spanish Merchant Marine Directorate General, the Spanish recreational boating market recorded 4,371 registrations between January and August 2026, representing a 7% increase compared with the same period in 2025.
