Superyacht Tenders & Toys, the company behind Roam Boats, has announced that sales for their range of go-anywhere tenders and support vessels have far exceeded expectations.
The recent flurry of orders is largely thanks to interest following the launch of the Roam 8 Adventure RIB at the 2022 Monaco Yacht Show. This multi-purpose tender and its counterparts have really captured the attention of those with an appetite for adventure coupled with the need for a practical utility vessel.
Alongside stock orders for the standard platform Roam Adventure RIBs and Beachlanders, the team are manufacturing a semi-custom, 7-metre Adventure RIB tender for a new build Sanlorenzo, a 10-metre catamaran Landing Craft and an 11-metre custom Beachlander to upgrade ship-to-shore transfer for the owner and guests of a large explorer vessel.
Roam’s Inflatable Landing Craft has also attracted a lot of interest from those looking for a quick and easy-to-deploy tender that can carry anything from luggage to dive gear, kayaks and motorbikes.
Whilst customers have specified their own unique customisation, all orders will retain Roam’s DNA of being robust, adaptable, no-nonsense, aluminium support vessels geared towards the dive, toy and adventure arena. Underpinned by the expertise of parent company Superyacht Tenders & Toys, working in partnership with respected naval architects, Argo Navis.
Senior Project Manager Richard Booth says, “The key to our recent success is the combination of providing a practical balance between support and adventure whilst simultaneously pushing the boundaries with new models, custom options and the latest in manufacturing and sustainability technology. We strive to deliver exactly what our customers need whilst continuously developing the ROAM brand with innovative new concepts. Watch this space for the Roam 10 Beachlander due to hit the water this summer, the Roam Solas 450 rescue RIB and more!”
