A true digital concierge capable of knowing every detail of the yacht, assisting both owner and crew, and at the same time ensuring safety, privacy, and operational continuity, even without an internet connection. This is the new frontier of innovation signed by Next Yacht Group, which at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2025 presents in a world premiere the Next AI-Integrated System, installed on board the new AB 110.
The system represents the first proprietary local and integrated artificial intelligence platform in the nautical sector, designed to operate entirely on board, without depending on cloud services or external connections.
Developed in collaboration with AI Technologies, an Italian company specialized in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and integrated into the onboard systems by YES Group, the Next AI-Integrated System allows complete control of all yacht functions: from lighting to climate control, from onboard scenarios to entertainment, up to system data such as fuel and water levels, energy consumption, alarms, and scheduled maintenance.
All information is processed locally, ensuring maximum data protection, immediate responses, and constant reliability. If necessary, 5G/WAN connectivity is available only for remote read-only access, fully preserving the owner’s confidentiality.
Modern yachts integrate dozens of different systems — automation, security, entertainment, monitoring — often managed by independent software and interfaces, resulting in fragmented commands and dispersed data.
Next AI-Integrated System introduces a new paradigm: a “local digital brain” capable of unifying and managing all onboard functions autonomously, stably, and securely, without ever depending on the network.
As underlined by Giorgio Mattei, Vice Chairman of Next Yacht Group:
“With this highly innovative project, we are redefining the onboard experience. For the owner, true luxury means simplicity and control. We offer an assistant that always works, anywhere — even in the middle of the ocean, without internet — safely, continuously, and reliably. It’s an artificial intelligence that belongs to the yacht and its family, not to the cloud.”
The system can be managed through the new proprietary My AB and My Maiora apps, which offer a direct interface with the AI assistant in text mode.
The version presented at FLIBS 2025 introduces a series of live demos and real-world use cases aboard the AB 110, showing the effectiveness and fluidity of the system in daily interaction.
In its future development plan, Next Yacht Group foresees the introduction of further advanced features, including always-on voice activation with a dedicated wake word and predictive maintenance tools based on onboard data analysis.
With the Next AI-Integrated System, Next Yacht Group continues its path of digital transformation, introducing a technology that places privacy, security, and autonomy at the heart of the navigation experience.
Starting from 2026, the system will be available across the entire range of the AB Yachts and Maiora brands, marking the beginning of a new era for connected — yet independent — yachting.
