Following the DOM133 and the more recent DOM115, Baglietto continues the development of its DOM line with the new DOM155, an aluminium displacement motor yacht under 500 GT, positioned as the flagship model of the range. The project responds to the demand from owners seeking larger dimensions, while preserving the principles that have defined the entire family: generous volumes, a strong connection between interior and exterior spaces, and extensive customisation opportunities.

The exterior lines, designed by Stefano Vafiadis, reflect the series’ family feeling, with taut surfaces, longitudinal cuts and a stylistic approach focused on balance and formal clarity. The use of aluminium as the structural material allows for reduced draught, improved performance and greater design flexibility, elements that make the DOM155 particularly attractive for the North American market as well.

The first unit is scheduled for delivery at the beginning of 2029.

According to Fabio Ermetto, Chief Commercial Officer of Baglietto, the DOM155 is the direct result of ongoing dialogue with owners and with the market, which has expressed interest in a dimensional evolution of the 35- and 41-metre models, integrating the experience gained on previous hulls in terms of comfort, layout and liveability.

The project places special emphasis on the aft area, organised around a central infinity pool and a multifunctional beach club. The latter can be configured as a wellness area with spa and gym overlooking the sea, or alternatively converted into an additional garage for larger tenders. The swim platform is completed by a transformer that facilitates access to the water and to the dock.

The main deck features large glazed surfaces and fully opening doors that create continuity between the exterior and interior lounges. On the same deck are a dining area for ten guests, the galley with pantry, and the full-beam owner’s suite, complete with office, cabin with California king-size bed and “his and hers” bathroom with walk-through shower.

On the lower deck there are four guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms, with the option of an additional guest cabin on the upper deck. The crew, consisting of eight members, is accommodated forward on the upper deck in four cabins with en-suite facilities, in addition to crew mess and laundry area.

The upper deck saloon, open on three sides, prioritises natural light and ventilation, while outside there are a dining area and a relaxation space. Forward, a private lounge allows guests to enjoy navigation in greater privacy. The sun deck, with a surface area of approximately 130 square metres, features sunbathing areas, a conversation zone and a second infinity pool with integrated bar.

Propulsion is provided by two CAT C32 engines, enabling the DOM155 to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots.

With this new model, Baglietto strengthens the development path of the DOM line, expanding its dimensional range and reinforcing its positioning in the segment of large displacement yachts under 500 GT, focusing on stylistic continuity, design flexibility and construction quality.
