VISIONF Yachts has delivered its second 24-meter solar electric catamaran, the VISIONF E-Cat 80, named Gloriamaris. The yacht, constructed in lightweight carbon fiber, is designed for adventure and family use, featuring a kids’ room and jacuzzi.
The E-Cat 80, built at VISIONF’s Tuzla shipyard, highlights the brand’s focus on clean and efficient yachting. Designed by Marco Casali from TOO Design, the yacht combines a sleek profile with advanced electric technology. It is powered by twin 180 kW electric motors and 63 solar panels, allowing for long-range cruising with minimal generator use.
The owner of Gloriamaris has incorporated several upgrades, including a music room on the flybridge equipped with a piano and harp, providing a creative space at sea. Additional solar panels have been installed to enhance energy autonomy, further reducing the need for generator power and extending the yacht's fully electric cruising capabilities.
The yacht is set to sail to the Red Sea this winter, showcasing its capabilities in a real-world setting. The E-Cat 80’s semi-custom platform allows for extensive personalization, as demonstrated by the owner-driven enhancements on Gloriamaris.
VISIONF Yachts continues to advance its commitment to sustainable yachting through innovative designs and technology. The delivery of the second E-Cat 80 marks another milestone in the company’s journey towards future-oriented yachting solutions.
