Sessa Marine is launching its commercial presence in Nigeria through a collaboration with Multimodal Transport Technologies, a Lagos-based company led by CEO Kayode Olowu, active in maritime services, the supply of boats, engines, spare parts, dock infrastructure and solutions dedicated to the marine sector. The company has an articulated operational structure, with head office, boat/dock yard and workshop/warehouse facilities in Lagos.

Over the years, the new partner has consolidated a significant presence in the local nautical market through showrooms, warehouse facilities and a service centre dedicated to the Nigerian marine community. Multimodal Transport Technologies is also a Yamaha dealer, a factor that confirms its technical and commercial positioning within the sector.

The agreement marks the beginning of a strategic collaboration aimed at building a stable brand presence in Nigeria and supporting the commercial development of the Key Largo range, an expression of Sessa Marine’s Italian design, characterised by build quality, comfort, versatility and ease of management.

The partnership includes an initial launch phase with three models from the Key Largo line — KL40, KL34 and KL25 — which will also be presented during the Lagos Boat Show, a reference event for the local nautical market and a strategic platform for the development of the brand among owners, operators and premium clientele.

Particular attention will be dedicated to the new KL25, a completely new project within the Key Largo range, which will make its official debut at the next Genoa International Boat Show. The model represents a further step in Sessa Marine’s product evolution path, expanding the shipyard’s offering in the segment of sporty, innovative boats intended for versatile use.

The three units destined for the Nigerian market will be powered by Yamaha engines, within the framework of the strategic partnership linking the two brands in the technical and commercial development of the range. All boats will also be equipped with Garmin systems, Sessa Marine’s technology partner for the integration of navigation, control and onboard experience management solutions.

Sessa Marine intends to support the new dealer in market development by providing products, commercial know-how, marketing support and communication tools, with the aim of progressively consolidating the brand’s presence in the territory.

Nigeria represents a market of growing interest for recreational boating, particularly for the premium and lifestyle segment. In this context, Sessa Marine aims to position itself as a brand capable of combining Italian style, industrial reliability and product usability.

The operation confirms Sessa Marine’s international development path and the brand’s growing focus on the African continent, an area considered strategic for the future growth of the brand.
