Sea-Doo presented its 2027 personal watercraft and pontoon range on 17 August in Valcourt, Quebec. The BRP Inc. brand (TSX/NASDAQ: DOO) put forward three headline items: the 350 hp Rotax 1630 ACE engine, the RXP-X Senna 350 limited edition built with Senna Brand, and the Spark X, the first Spark with 110 hp. Bruno Senna attended the press conference.
The 350 hp Rotax 1630 ACE is the most powerful engine the company fits to a Sea-Doo watercraft from the factory. It goes into the GTX Limited, RXT-X, RXP-X and the RXP-X Senna. The work starts with a new intake grate and a revised booster wheel that raises boost pressure and needs no maintenance over the life of the engine. Conrod and bolt design have been reworked. New calibration lifts maximum engine speed from 8,250 to 8,500 rpm. The 0-60 mph run drops to 3.1 seconds, against 3.4 seconds for the 325 hp engine of 2025 and 3.6 seconds for the 300 hp engine of 2023, a 15 percent gain on the previous models; the times come from internal testing under optimal conditions.
The RXP-X Senna 350 follows a one-year agreement between Sea-Doo and Senna Brand, the company set up by the Senna family to look after the legacy and values of the three-time Formula 1 world champion. Production stops at 1,991 units worldwide and pre-orders are open. The number points to 1991, the year of Ayrton Senna's last title, repeated on a numbered plate fitted to the craft. The hull carries Senna's laser-integrated signature, a reference to his three world championships and the lines "Seek your truth" and "Born to win". A matching passenger seat and a Senna-branded cover are included. The Racing Yellow and Amazon Green livery follows the driver's original racing helmet.

The spec sheet lists a fibreglass T3-R hull and a 1,630 cc supercharged engine with external intercooler. The craft is 332 cm long, 125 cm wide and 111 cm high, weighs 353 kg dry and holds 70 L of fuel. On board are the 10.25-inch touch display, the BRP Platinum Audio System with two 80-watt speakers, a carbon fibre hood, launch control and a hydraulic steering damper. With the passenger seat fitted it takes two riders.
The Spark family moves to the new Rotax 1000 ACE, the next step on from the 900 ACE, in three power levels: 60, 90 and 110 hp. The hull is new as well, with better turning, more comfort in chop and more lean through corners. With the 110 hp engine, top speed rises 15 percent, from 48 to 55 mph. The Spark X, also offered with the Trixx package, comes with the iDF system that clears debris from the pump through handlebar controls, plus a speed regulator, a boarding step, a colored-in deck and the BRP portable audio system; the last two are optional on the Trixx version. In the United States the Spark starts at $7,099 and the Spark X at $10,849. Dry weight for the Spark X is 207 kg as a two-seater and 214 kg as a three-seater, with a 30 L tank.
For the pontoons, 2027 is the fifth year of the Switch. The 10.25-inch display reaches every model with 230 and 300 hp engines. The Switch Sport line gains rear corner doors, while the Switch Cruise with Tech Package and the Switch Cruise Limited 18' can be ordered with a double bimini fitted at the factory. Models with the 230 hp engine take a 176 L fuel tank, and the whole range gets an updated automatic bilge pump. On the watercraft side the same display extends to the GTX and GTR-X.
New colours include Solar Orange Metallic for the RXP-X and RXT-X, Mineral Blue for the GTX Limited, Teal Blue and Manta Green for the Wake family, and Blue Mist with either Deep Black or Coral Blast for the Spark X and Spark X Trixx. Accessories include a 20 L LinQ cooler in Race Orange with an integrated ice pack, wrap protection kits and a performance saddle for the Spark.
