Cantiere Rossini has entrusted its management to a professional who has developed his career within the company. As of 1 September 2026, Gianluca Gabellini is the new Shipyard Director of the Pesaro-based yard, succeeding Alfonso Postorino, who after ten years in operational charge has taken on the role of Shipyard Ambassador. Gabellini’s appointment therefore provides management continuity and draws on his direct knowledge of the yard’s activities: prior to his promotion, he served as Senior Project Manager and over the years was involved in the delivery of numerous complex refit projects, building relationships with owners, captains and industry professionals. The internal promotion also reflects the company’s intention to develop and recognise talent from within its organisation.

For Postorino, the appointment marks a new phase in his relationship with Cantiere Rossini. Having stepped back from day-to-day management, he will continue to provide strategic guidance and represent the shipyard at major industry events, yacht shows and institutional initiatives. His connection with the company goes back to the origins of Cantiere Rossini itself: Stewart Parvin, CEO of the shipyard, recalls meeting Postorino 15 years ago, when he was already a respected figure in the yachting industry. In 2015, when the shipyard that would become Cantiere Rossini was acquired, Postorino joined the project as a founding member and Shipyard Director.

“Alfonso’s contribution to building Cantiere Rossini into the shipyard it is today has been fundamental, and my gratitude to him is profound. I look forward to many more years of working alongside him,” said Parvin, who has also known Gabellini for many years and has followed his professional development within the company. “Over the years, I have seen him grow into an outstanding leader. As Senior Project Manager, he has earned the trust of both our clients and our team, and I have every confidence that he is the right person to lead the shipyard into its next chapter.”

With the new structure, Cantiere Rossini therefore separates responsibility for day-to-day operations, now entrusted to Gabellini, from the representative and strategic advisory role assumed by Postorino, while retaining within the organisation the experience developed during the shipyard’s first ten years of activity.
