Mangusta attends the Cannes Yachting Festival from 8 to 13 September with the Mangusta Oceano 39, on display at stand Jetée Sud 013/170, and with a second project the yard presents as a worldwide premiere.

The Mangusta Oceano 39 measures 39 metres, has three decks and a gross tonnage of 324 GT. It was developed by the Overmarine Group engineering department together with Alberto Mancini, who designed the exterior lines. According to the yard, the aim was to fit volumes, comfort and design solutions usually found on larger yachts into a 39-metre hull.

The full-height glazed surfaces can be partly opened. On the upper deck the bulwarks are made of glass. Aft there is a beach house facing the water, with side terraces at sea level; forward, an infinity pool with a partly glazed bottom.

The unit shown at Cannes is the fifth hull of the series. Its interiors are full custom and were developed with the M2 Atelier studio.

Propulsion comes from two MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines rated at 2,600 hp at 2,450 rpm. Top speed is 19 knots and cruising speed 16 knots.

The yard has not described the second project in detail. It refers to it as a new chapter in the history of Overmarine Group and as a project drawing on Mangusta heritage.

Overmarine Group was founded in 1985 by the Balducci family and runs production sites in Tuscany, in Viareggio, Massa and Pisa, covering more than 210,000 square metres. The group builds fast composite yachts from 20 to 50 metres and, since 2015, displacement ships in steel and aluminium and semi-displacement ships in aluminium between 42 and 54 metres. It has delivered 25 metal ships and more than 320 composite units, over 150 of them longer than 100 feet. It employs around 200 people directly and more than 500 indirectly, with offices in Miami and on the Côte d'Azur and dealers in Turkey, Israel and the Balearics. The company marked its 40th anniversary in 2025.
