Pirelli 44 maxi-rib debuts at Cannes Yachting Festival

Sacs Marine is showing the Pirelli 44 to the public for the first time at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival. The model extends the Pirelli Speedboats range, which the yard builds as licensee of the Pirelli brand for inflatable boats, and follows the Pirelli 47 launched in 2025.

The boat is a 13.10-metre open with a maximum beam of 4.30 metres and 60-centimetre tubes divided into six compartments. Weight with standard engines is 8.5 tonnes. Tank capacity is 950 litres for fuel, 200 litres for water and 40 litres for waste. The Pirelli 44 is certified to CE category B for up to 18 people, with a maximum installable power of 1,350 hp.

Mannerfelt Design Team designed the double-step hull. The styling carries over elements of the larger Pirelli 47 on reduced proportions: the hard top meets the deckhouse, while the bow area holds a sunpad and an aft-facing sofa. A convertible face-to-face dinette sits aft and extends to the sunpad, with shading systems above it. The helm is protected by a glass windscreen with a wiper. Below deck, the layout includes a living area that converts into a sleeping area, plus a separate head.

The tube band carries the tread pattern of the Cinturato Blue Full Wet, the wet tyre Pirelli supplies to the top-level motorsport championship where it is sole supplier. The Pirelli logo also appears on the upholstery.

At Cannes the Pirelli 44 is rigged with three 425 hp Mercury Verado V10 outboards, for a combined 1,275 hp. The model will also be available as a twin-engine version with the same outboards, and in a variant with two 600 hp Mercury Verado V12 engines.

Sacs was founded in 1989 and entered the maxi-rib segment with the Strider range, later joined by the Rebel line, which spans 40 to 60 feet. The company has worked with Pirelli for more than twenty years on the Pirelli Speedboats and Pirelli Tenders ranges.
