Nautor Swan has given the Swan 80 its world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, in the year the builder turns sixty. The yacht is moored at Port Canto alongside the Swan 58, while the Swan 73, currently under construction, was shown to media for the first time ahead of its world premiere at Cannes in 2027.
Gianguido Girotti, appointed chief executive of Nautor Swan in June, is making his first public appearance in the role at the show. He began his career at the studio of Germán Frers and went on to gain experience across the sailing yacht industry.

"Swan has always represented a benchmark of excellence — a name synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and sailing performance. I am proud to become part of an extraordinary family of owners, sailors and employees who have contributed to creating this unique legacy."
On strategy, he pointed to continuity: "Our ambition is to define a strong product and brand strategy while ensuring that Swan remains the first choice for the world's most discerning owners. We will continue to invest in innovation while preserving the DNA that makes every Swan distinctive. Innovation is not simply about technology. It is also about ideas, about finding new ways of experiencing life at sea. Our objective is sustainable, long-term growth." The range will be broadened gradually rather than reworked, the company said. Nautor Swan joined the Sanlorenzo Group two years ago.
The Swan 80 measures 24 metres and is the most compact model in the Maxi Swan line. It shares the design team behind the Swan 88, 108 and 128: naval architecture by Germán Frers, exterior design by Lucio Micheletti and interiors by Misa Poggi. The cockpit has twin tables and extensive seating, with shelter from the sprayhood, bimini and awning. The guest area is separated from the working spaces and carries no winches or running rigging. Below deck the yacht uses hand-finished timbers, fabrics, polished metal and leather detailing, with carbon fibre inserts.
The Swan 73 returns the builder to the 70ft class after more than two decades. Designed by Germán Frers with interiors by Blend Studio, it is intended to be operated with two crew while offering the volume and amenities of a larger yacht.
The anniversary programme continues next week in Porto Cervo with the Rolex Swan Cup, organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The builder expects around 170 Swan yachts and hundreds of owners and sailors. The regatta sits within ClubSwan, which is organised in three strands: ClubSwan Legacy, covering the yachts and history of the brand; ClubSwan Spirit, covering the community's social side; and ClubSwan Racing, dedicated to competition.
