Sessa Marine has appointed Azzurro as its dealer for Turkey. The company, headquartered in Yalıkavak, Bodrum, will represent the Sessa Yachts and Key Largo lines on the Turkish market. The agreement comes the day after the world premiere of the new Key Largo 25 at the Genoa International Boat Show.
The deal is part of the expansion plan launched by the Cividate al Piano shipyard following the arrival of its new owners, the Vieira family. The yard has built more than 20,000 boats and, according to the company, bases its range on Italian design, build quality, liveable space and ease of use.
Azzurro was founded in 2008 as a maintenance, repair and engine service centre for yachts. Today it sells new and pre-owned boats and provides nautical consultancy. In addition to its Bodrum headquarters, it has offices in Göcek, Marmaris and Istanbul, and a branch in Olbia.
In Turkey, Azzurro will offer the Key Largo open boats, from the new Key Largo 25 to the Key Largo 40, and Sessa yachts up to 70 feet in coupé and flybridge versions.
The new Key Largo 25
The Key Largo 25 was unveiled on 1 October at the entrance to the 66th Genoa International Boat Show. It is the first model developed under the yard's new design direction. The project is by Daniele Mazzon's Studio M and draws on the identity of the Key Largo range, which totals more than 8,000 units, with updated proportions and styling. The design work focused on optimising interior and exterior volumes to increase space on board and broaden the range of uses, from sporty cruising to family outings. The yard describes the boat as unique in its category because of its side opening, and sums up the concept with the line "Yacht standards. Key Largo spirit." The model is entered in the Design Innovation Award, confirming the quality of the project: five units had already been sold by the time of its presentation.
