On the evening of Thursday, 10 September, a press conference was held at Zuma Cannes to unveil the new PIRELLI 44 | Ducati Edition.

In front of an exclusive audience of boat owners, Ducati customers, the media, and industry stakeholders, SACS Marine unveiled a world première, in the form of a scale model, of the new entry in the PIRELLI SPEEDBOATS range, the Ducati Edition, which is scheduled for its official unveiling in the coming months. The PIRELLI 44 | Ducati Edition, limited to just 26 specimens as a tribute to 1926, the year Ducati was founded, is the result of an unprecedented collaboration between the world leader in maxi RIBs and the world’s most prestigious motorcycle brand, unveiled at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival.

For over twenty years, SACS Marine and PIRELLI have been linked by a licensing agreement that has left an indelible mark on the boating world, giving rise to the PIRELLI SPEEDBOATS brand: a line of walkaround maxi RIBs with a sporty character and unique DNA. Within this range, the PIRELLI 42 represented a milestone, becoming the most commercially successful model.

Picking up the legacy of a best-seller such as the PIRELLI 42 is an ambitious challenge. Hence the new PIRELLI 44, a natural evolution of the model that has won over even the most discerning boat owners, featuring a refreshed design while maintaining the overall balance that has made it such a success.

The PIRELLI 44 reaches its peak in the Ducati Edition version. Inspired by the livery of the Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario, the most extreme road motorcycle ever built, the PIRELLI 44 Ducati immediately stands out for its unmistakable look, the result of graphics co-designed with the Ducati Style Centre. There are numerous exclusive details that make this edition unique: a dual-step sports hull designed by the Mannerfelt Design Team, a carbon-fibre hardtop, a black steel pack, an Alcantara dashboard and driver’s seats, a commemorative plaque dedicated to the model, a customisable number plate, and much more.

The aerodynamic engine extensions further emphasise the identity of this special edition: a distinctive feature directly inspired by the aerodynamic fairings of MotoGP motorcycles, bringing to the water an engineering and style element previously only seen on the racetrack. This detail alone is a testimony of the level of collaboration between the two brands and makes the PIRELLI 44 Ducati one of a kind.

The hallmark of Pirelli SPEEDBOATS has always been the tread pattern reproduced on the tubes, inspired by the Pirelli Cinturato Blue Wet, the WET-weather tyre used in the top motorsports competition, where Pirelli is the sole tire supplier. In the Ducati edition, this detail changes and takes on an even deeper meaning: the pattern is sculpted and hand-carved by artisans at Pirelli’s R&D Centre, drawing inspiration from the Pirelli DIABLO Supercorsa SP type-approved hypersport tyres, the same ones fitted on the Ducati Superleggera V4 Centenario.

Powered by three 500 Mercury Racing engines, the PIRELLI 44 Ducati delivers top performance, combined with excellent seaworthiness and a high standard of safety and comfort on board.

The partnership between SACS Marine and Ducati, announced and celebrated during the event at Zuma Cannes, marks the first chapter of a project designed to stand the test of time: in the coming months, the launch of the PIRELLI 44 Ducati will be accompanied by a series of initiatives, events, and special occasions designed to strengthen the bond between the three brands and guide boat owners on a journey that is just beginning
