SailGP, the most exciting racing on water, today confirmed the continuation of its partnership with global electric propulsion leader ePropulsion, which has served as the championship’s Official Electric Outboard Supplier for Small Craft since 2021.

ePropulsion will continue to supply electric outboard motors for SailGP’s fleet of small craft and support vessels, helping to reduce emissions across event operations while showcasing cutting-edge clean propulsion technology on a global sporting stage.

A world leader in electric boat motors and propulsion systems, ePropulsion delivers quiet, reliable and sustainable power through its range of outboards, inboards and pod drives. The partnership aligns closely with SailGP’s broader climate goals and on-water transition plans.

SailGP Head of Impact Iona Neilson, said: “Sport has a powerful role to play in accelerating real-world impact. Our partnership with ePropulsion allows us to demonstrate how electric propulsion can perform reliably in demanding environments, all while reducing emissions across our operations. By integrating clean technologies into the day-to-day running of SailGP, we aim to help drive broader adoption across the marine sector.”

ePropulsion Co-founder and CEO Danny Tao, said: “SailGP continues to set the standard for high performance, purpose driven sport, and we're proud to be continuing our partnership. Working together has already delivered meaningful progress, and we're excited to build on that momentum, driving further innovation in clean marine technology and supporting SailGP's ambition for a more sustainable future on the water."

Through SailGP’s international race calendar and global broadcast reach, the collaboration continues to highlight how sustainable propulsion technologies can be integrated into elite sport operations and beyond.
