As the yachting industry gathers in Cannes from 8 to 13 September for one of the year’s key international events, Floating Life will be on site throughout the boat show, meeting clients and partners and showcasing its expertise across the yacht ownership and charter landscape
Founded over twenty years ago by Andrea Pezzini and Barbara Tambani, the Swiss company has built its reputation on a tailor-made approach to yachting, supporting clients across Yacht Management, Charter and Brokerage, full-custom projects and technical owner representation. Today, Floating Life manages and represents yachts between 30 and 60 meters, combining technical expertise, reliability, transparency and a strong focus on the individual needs of each client over the long term.
Maintaining this close connection with clients and the increasingly complex yachting market is an integral part of Floating Life’s approach. This is at the heart of Floating Life’s presence in Cannes, where its Charter and Brokerage teams will accompany clients throughout the show, introducing them to the yachts and opportunities on display.
A key highlight of the event will be the world premiere of the Sunreef ULTIMA 88, which Floating Life will present to its clients as the Authorized Agent for Sunreef Yachts for the Italian- and French-speaking cantons of Switzerland. The latest addition to Sunreef’s ULTIMA range, the 88 brings the vision behind the range to a new scale, combining sleek architecture, performance and generous living spaces.
Designed around an active lifestyle at sea, the ULTIMA 88 brings together the dynamic character of a monohull and the space, stability and comfort of a multihull, reaching a top speed of 26 knots, and places particular emphasis on the relationship between the yacht and the water. Its spacious Ocean Lounge aft features unfolding side terraces that open the yacht towards the sea, creating an expansive area for relaxation and entertainment. A large garage and hydraulic platform provide direct access to water toys and equipment, further enhancing the yacht’s outdoor living experience.
The premiere in Cannes represents an important opportunity for Floating Life to introduce the new model directly to its clients. Filippo Rossi, Chief Commercial Officer of Floating Life, will be in attendance throughout the event to present the model and discuss its features and opportunities, offering them the possibility to experience Sunreef’s latest development firsthand.
Floating Life’s presence at the boat show also reflects its growing collaboration with Sunreef Yachts. As an Authorized Agent for Sunreef in the Italian- and French-speaking cantons of Switzerland, Floating Life brings its expertise in yacht brokerage, new-build projects and client advisory to the relationship, complementing Sunreef’s expertise in the design and construction of luxury catamarans. The partnership enables Floating Life to give direct access to Sunreef’s portfolio while offering a personalised and independent point of reference throughout the discovery and decision-making process.
