Founded in Switzerland in 2002 by Andrea Pezzini and Barbara Tambani, Floating Life is an independent company providing integrated services for yacht owners, spanning Yacht Management, Technical Services, Charter, Brokerage and full-custom New Build projects as well as a Concierge service and a Uniform division. Its approach is rooted in the idea of a family office for yacht owners, combining in-house technical expertise with tailor-made solutions designed to support the yacht and its owner throughout the entire lifecycle.
Rather than pursuing a high-volume model, Floating Life has built its positioning around a close and highly personalised relationship with its clients. Its Yacht Management division focuses on yachts from 30 metres upwards, providing comprehensive technical, operational and administrative management, while its New Build Division works alongside owners from the earliest stages of a project through construction, acting as Technical Owner’s Representative and overseeing quality, compliance and specifications.
This approach is particularly relevant in Monaco, where the concentration of experienced yacht owners, international brokers, shipyards, advisors and other high-level industry stakeholders makes the show an important platform for direct dialogue.
The company’s technical and project expertise is reflected in its track record across both management and new construction. Floating Life’s experience includes a 40-metre yacht built by Baglietto in 2018, as well as the 42-metre Audace, built by Cantiere delle Marche in 2019. More recently, the company has expanded its New Build activity through a dedicated division, with current projects including a 42-metre superyacht and a Maiora M|30, for which Floating Life acts as Surveyor and Owner’s Representative, and a 48-metre full-custom Baglietto project, all under construction in Italy.
In both management and new construction, the company’s philosophy is to remain closely involved with the owner and the project.
