Antonini Navi has celebrated the keel-laying of Seamore 34 – the steel and aluminium semi-custom yacht with a length overall of 33.5 metres – at its facilities overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia. The private ceremony was attended by the owner.
Seamore 34 – the launch is planned for early 2025 with a debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival later in the year – was sold to an Italian owner presented to the Shipyard by the brokerage firm Media Yachts International.
The project saw collaboration on the exterior styling, naval architecture and engineering between the Shipyard’s technical office and Hydro Tec, while Hot Lab handled development and design work for the interiors.
The keel-laying ceremony, which dates back to the Roman period, is always a thrilling and highly symbolic event during which a coin is placed under the keel and included in the hull, where it will remain for the entire life of the vessel as a good omen for the builder, the owner and crew.
Antonini Navi celebrates the start of work on Seamore 34 just weeks after launching the construction of the new 32-metre Explorer Yacht.
