Azimut|Benetti Group, the world’s leading producer of yachts over 24 metres, won two coveted first places at the Yacht Style Awards 2024 in the ‘Motor Yacht 18-21m’ and ‘Superyacht 40-60m’ categories.
The award ceremony at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove was held the day before the official opening of the Singapore Yachting Festival. Organised by the prestigious magazine Yacht Style, a leading yachting magazine in the Asia Pacific area, the awards select the yachting industry’s top players in Asia and internationally.
The two wins are an important endorsement for Azimut|Benetti Group, which continues to grow in the Asia Pacific market, reporting rising sales that demonstrate how popular the products are with customers in this area. In Azimut’s case, turnover has increased 40% in the last four years, with the Grande Series driving sales and a strong Dealer network spread across the region ensuring premium customer service. At Benetti, the Shipyard continues to see a strong demand for the full range of yachts in the APAC region and is delighted to see that almost all of the models are sold and delivered in the region recently – including Oasis 34M, Oasis 40M, B.Yond 37M, Motopanfilo 37M and B.NOW 50 Oasis Deck®. Benetti is also experiencing an uptick in demand for larger superyachts in APAC for a more private and personalized experience, with new orders of B.NOW 60M Oasis Deck® and B.Yond 40M currently in build.
Azimut Magellano 60
The winner of the ‘Motor Yacht 18-21m’ category, Magellano 60 is the latest model in Azimut’s Magellano Series. A crossover characterized by a timeless design and elegant lines, the Magellano 60 is designed for owners who love long cruises and enjoy spending time on board. The Shipyard has brought the latest developments from the Azimut|Benetti Group R&D Department to this model to reduce emissions and generally improve life on board. The Magellano 60 was chosen for the first voyages powered by HVOlution, the biofuel produced by Eni Live (Eni Sustainable Mobility) with 100% renewable raw materials* which, combined with the high efficiency Dual Mode hull, has enabled a well-to-wake CO2 emissions reduction exceeding 80% compared to a similarly sized vessel powered by fossil fuel oil. Furthermore, Azimut has introduced a new home automation system that brings artificial intelligence aboard the Magellano 60 for smart management of the yacht, developed by the Shipyard in partnership with Google Cloud and Reply; through a proprietary app, it is possible to interact with the yacht via commands that allow you to control, even remotely, various onboard functions.
Benetti B.NOW 50M
This model in Benetti’s B.Now line, the winner in the ‘Superyacht 40-60m’ category, is inspired by a design concept developed by the Shipyard in collaboration with architects RWD, epitomising Italian excellence in technological innovation and synergy with the British partners. With a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure, this superyacht is characterised by shorter deliver times, a profound connection with the water, and seamless continuity between interiors and exteriors. With this family of yachts, Benetti offers owners a new onboard lifestyle in close contact with the sea thanks to the generous windows and the Oasis Deck®. This innovative solution available for all B.Now models is designed by Benetti to experience life at sea in an emotionally engaging way, with the two wings that open out to enlarge the deck area and the infinity pool built into the very heart of the deck, offering owners and guests an unimpeded 270-degree panoramic view, including from the main deck saloon.
