Benetti presents the B.Yond 37M, the greenest model in its category

Inspired by the revolutionary vision of Paolo Vitelli, Founder and President of Azimut|Benetti Group, and shaped by the creative genius of architect Stefano Righini, Benetti B.Yond 37M "Goga" extends across four decks, embodying the excellence of a new series of Voyagers and expressing the style favoured by modern owners.

Instead of fiberglass, Benetti made an unusual choice for a boat this size and opted for a return to steel. A step back in time to the 1950s, when Benetti pioneered the introduction of metal in place of wood. For many markets, steel is a symbol of durability and solidity, which are quintessential features of a Voyager designed for long cruises.

The innovative E-Mode Hybrid system by Siemens Energy makes it possible to optimize on-board energy consumption according to specific usage profiles, which translates into unprecedented CO2 and NOx emissions reductions for a yacht in this category.

At sea, the B.Yond 37M combines SCR catalytic filters - a gas control technology that uses a urea-based liquid solution already adopted in the automotive industry for Euro 6D diesel engines - with the innovative E-Mode Hybrid system by Siemens Energy, which is based on a crew-friendly integrated add-on architecture built on top of a traditional system. The result is extremely simple management, with switching possible from mechanical to electric propulsion and vice versa without the intervention of specialized personnel on board. This innovative solution offers the freedom of four different operating modes, including the standout Full Electric mode for zero emission navigation, an exclusive plus that allows B.Yond 37M to enter protected marine areas or those normally off-limits to motor yachts. The lithium battery pack also makes it possible to stay at anchor in Hotel Mode with zero emissions, keeping the generators switched off and running the main on-board utilities from the batteries. This translates into time spent at anchor in harmony with nature, immersed in vibration-free silence. With the new generation of high energy density batteries, a 300 kW/h pack will provide up to 8 hours of autonomy at anchor during the day and 12 hours at night. The batteries recharge in just three hours.

Estimating an average annual use of 1,000 hours, of which 400 under way and the rest at anchor, fuel consumption and CO2 can be reduced by up to 24% and NOx by a maximum of 85%.

All this, plus the added value of a Voyager with an incredible range almost double that of traditional navettas of the same size, or up to 8,200 nautical miles at 9 knots in Eco Transfer mode, with the two diesel-generators switched off and only one propulsion engine running, which reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 16% and NOx emissions by up to 80% compared with traditional propulsion systems.

The revolutionary concept devised by Stefano Righini, who brings all his creative flair into play, features the inclusion of a fourth deck, which makes it possible to raise all the most prestigious areas of the yacht and give them an incredible panoramic view.

The cleverly designed layout, which exploits the full potential of a 50-meter, 500 GT mega yacht optimized in a length of just 37 meters, has made it possible to keep the various functional areas separate without affecting the overall harmony. The Lower Deck is reserved for the crew, providing generous operating and service areas, four cabins, the captain's suite and the availability of an additional cabin. The services area also includes a proper walk-in wine cellar and a cold room, two unusual features on a boat this size. The Main Deck provides the night area for guests, with four deluxe suites entered from a panoramic lounge featuring generous windows, which Benetti calls the Playroom, and an open-air relaxation area. Moving to the Upper Deck, the completely unencumbered living area extends from stern to bow and offers an unrivalled 360-degree view of the sea, including from the sunbathing area and Jacuzzi. Next up, the Bridge Deck is devoted to the owner's suite, which has a spacious bathroom, a dressing room, a refined study area with a desk, and a private terrace aft furnished with sun beds and a lounge area from which to enjoy the sea view. Forward, the Wheelhouse contains the helm station and a surveillance room for the captain during long voyages. The Sun Deck has a dining area, with a pantry and an outdoor table sheltered by a hard top, and a sunbathing area.

The large garage contains two jet skis, a 6.5-meter tender for the owner and a rescue boat. At water level, the beach area opens out in the stern to provide a generous sunbathing area and, inside, a wellness zone complete with sauna, steam shower and a toy room with Technogym equipment for training. Hospitality becomes style on board B.Yond 37M, where total privacy is ensured at all times by spaces that can be accessed from two internal staircases, one for guests and one for crew, and by separate flows for the owner and guests.

The extreme flexibility of the layout makes it possible to redefine the spaces and use existing areas for new hospitality functions based on the needs of the owner and guests. The Main Deck, in addition to four guest suites that are particularly spacious for a 37-meter yacht, can optionally contain either the master cabin or the Playroom with its panoramic view. The Bridge Deck can accommodate, on request, either the master cabin or a panoramic veranda. On the Lower Deck, the gym can be replaced by a sixth guest cabin. Another important new feature is the double accommodation solution for the captain, with a full-size cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse and another very spacious one adjoining the crew quarters. If the captain chooses to use the cabin closest to the wheelhouse, the other one could become a seventh guest cabin.

The white steel hull and aluminium superstructure express the personality and elegance of the B.Yond 37M, complemented by stainless steel railings, also painted white and finished with teak handrails, in an unusual but highly effective stylistic feature. The hull design is by Pierluigi Ausonio's firm P.L.A.N.A.

Open and spacious, the interior design by Benetti architect Mauro Izzo offers even more potential for customisation, allowing the owner to express their own taste and personality on a yacht to live on as if it were a second home.

This spirit has been captured to perfection by leading contemporary design brand Giorgetti, chosen by Benetti to provide the indoor and outdoor furnishings for the first B.Yond 37M, with solutions that accommodate all the owner's requests in an embodiment of absolute quality in terms of stylistic elegance and functional excellence. The materials chosen, including bronze bases and various types of wood and marble, are always innovative without forgetting the focus on sustainability that runs through the design of the entire yacht, acting as the guiding principle for every decision. The colour scheme presents a palette of natural hues enhanced by touches of blue, provided by the fabrics and accessories, which stand out against the optical white walls and echo the colour of the sea.

The ne plus ultra of Made in Benetti excellence, B.Yond 37M reveals its uniqueness in the ground-breaking concept, the unprecedented design, the technological innovation, and the focus on protecting the environment, all of which come together to offer a peerless lifestyle.
