Cayman Yachts presents the first novelty of the next season at the Cannes Yachting Festival. We are talking about the 540 WA Grey Hull model which will be on display, in an international preview in France, together with the 400WA Classic model. The boat, whose overall length is over 17 meters, offers superior habitability compared to open cruisers of this size: in fact, we have 3 cabins, 2 bathrooms, the crew cabin and the internal lounge (a real rarity on boats of this category).
In the cockpit there is a large and complete kitchen area, interposed with a bar area for the passage of food towards the sofa/dinette area hosted outside, of very generous dimensions, such as to accommodate up to 10 people seated, in total comfort. The deck features two large sunbathing areas at the stern and bow and an ergonomic chaise longue in front of the foldaway table at the bow, to enjoy moments of intimacy or conviviality such as an aperitif at sunset.
Very stable in navigation, thanks to its width of 5 m and water lines with a deep V hull (17” deadrise), it ensures high-performance and comfortable, even in rough seas. The wide, safe and comfortable side decks are striking, at the stern there are 2 comfortable side terraces obtained by knocking down the sides and the tender-lift with the possibility of having a garage to house the tender. At the bow there is an opening table, for guest use, complete with awning like all the other external areas used for relaxation. On request, the gyroscope stabilizer can be mounted.
The standard engine is entrusted to a pair of Volvo Penta IPS 950 with truly appreciable consumption; at cruising speed of about 28kn (2200 rpm) the consumption is about 7 liters/mile.
