Custom Line: five new launches in October and November

Custom Line wraps up 2025 with five new launches – three in the Navetta line and two in the Saetta line – bringing the total number of yachts with composite hulls launched at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona to 21. This boosts the continuous growth reported by Custom Line, confirming the solidity of the yachtmaker’s production model and the international recognition enjoyed by the brand and its product lines. Most new owners are based in the EMEA area, with a significant number from the AMAS region too, demonstrating the global reach of a yacht-maker that continues to stand out for fine craftsmanship, innovative design, customised interiors and the ability to give shape to personal visions and unique on-board lifestyles.

The calendar of autumn launches kicked off last October 7 with the twenty-seventh hull in the Saetta line, a Custom Line Saetta 106’. In the subsequent months, the shipyard went on to launch another four boats with lengths from 30 to 42 metres, all at ceremonies attended by the yard’s employees and external contractors.

The second yacht to touch the water, on October 9, was the fifteenth Custom Line Navetta 42 hull, which was launched during a ceremony attended by the owner family based in the EMEA region, their guests and the project team. She’s the result of a design journey led by the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, during which the Custom Line Atelier played a strategic role in interpreting the style requirements expressed by the clients, for whom this was their first made-to-measure yacht. This intense and shared creative process has resulted in bespoke customisation in all areas, transforming the yacht into a welcoming yet private space dedicated to family life and the art of hospitality. The interiors stand out for original architectural choices, not least in the main deck salon, which is dominated by the fully mirrored forward wall that amplifies the perception of space and introduces an attention-grabbing feature for the line. On the upper deck, instead, the focus of the space is the bar with its smooth, flowing lines, featuring a structure that seems to emerge from the teak floor and an aqua green quartzite countertop. There is also a card table, as requested by the owners, which helps create a convivial mood. The yacht also features various custom solutions, including the larger walk-in closets in the owner suite, an additional sofa bed in the lower deck cabin, and a selection of furnishings and unique design pieces that round out the project’s identity. Unifying and enhancing all the interior and exterior spaces is a harmonious palette of materials and textures in sandy colours, enlivened by pink, green and orange accents: fine woods, Crema Marfil marble and natural stone surfaces, a selection of bespoke rugs and unconventionally shaped freestanding furniture. Taken together, all these features give the yacht an unusual and sophisticated personality that can’t fail to leave a mark.

October 16 saw the launch of the seventh hull of the flagship model in the planing line, Custom Line Navetta 140’, a made-to-measure yacht with a sleek and assertive silhouette. The design is the result of a joint effort by the Strategic Product Committee – which handled the exterior styling – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department for the interiors. The launch ceremony, attended by the yacht’s captain, celebrated the project commissioned by an owner based in the AMAS region. The customer played a key role in choosing the loose furniture, preferring generously sized and convivial pieces, including large ten-seater sofas, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a second large
table on the upper deck for children, grandchildren and friends. The yacht is designed primarily for family use, in line with the American owners’ sporty lifestyle and intense relationship with the water, as can be seen from the spaces dedicated to water toys, plus additional storage areas for Seabobs and a large jet ski. The owner’s request for a small terrace overlooking the water in the owner suite introduces an intimate and refined architectural detail, designed for al fresco meals and private moments. The soft, neutral tone of the decor, defined by materials including white and titanium travertine marble, is complemented by freestanding furnishings featuring Calacatta Oro marble tops.
A harmonious atmosphere that combines contemporary aesthetics, conviviality and a dynamic and joyful on-board lifestyle.

The fifth Custom Line Navetta 38 hull was launched on November 13. One of the brand’s most recent made-to-measure yachts, this displacement model has a gross tonnage of 299 GT and is the result of synergy between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy and Engineering Departments. The exterior styling is by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio
Citterio Patricia Viel. Working alongside the project team was Custom Line Atelier, the team of inhouse architects who supervise every stage of every project, from defining the spaces to the style and made-to-measure details, translating the owner’s aesthetic preferences into consistent design choices and supporting them every step of the way, through to final definition of the spaces. Right from the outset, Custom Line Navetta 38 was conceived with a tailored approach that points up the value of every detail, combining refined aesthetics, ultimate liveability and an authentic relationship with the water. The design aims to showcase the interiors through stylistic and functional choices that
amplify the perception of space and raise the level of comfort on board, making the yacht a happy synthesis of elegance and liveability.

Bringing the winter season and the year as a whole to a close, the twenty-sixth Custom Line Navetta 30 hull was launched on November 24. She’s the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Product Strategy and Engineering Departments, with interiors by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and exterior styling by architect Filippo Salvetti. The owners, based in the EMEA region, attended the launch ceremony after playing an active role throughout every stage of the design and construction journey. The design of the decor springs from a decision made during the construction process, based on the main finishing material – chocolate coloured, cardinal striped American walnut – which defines the entire colour scheme: a palette of hazelnut, chocolate, sand and warm greys, further refined by tone-on-tone leathers and fabrics, as well as by white travertine marble, used in the bathrooms and reprised in the mosaic and the nubuck upholstery. The grey oak
flooring, perfectly coordinated with the finishings, brings visual continuity and a sense of modernity permeated by quasi-retro composure, while the glossy and matt lacquering in neutral colour shades defines a measured and consistent stylistic balance. The yacht’s personality is also defined by the meticulously selected indoor and outdoor freestanding furniture, chosen by the owners based on functional and identity-related criteria. The result is an elegant and discreet ambiance with contemporary styling, in which the design vision is translated into a unified and distinctive language of materials.
