Itama, the Ferretti Group brand synonymous worldwide with Italian open yachts, will be in the spotlight at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, held from September 8 to 13, with the world premiere of Itama 70. After her debut in Côte D’Azur, the new open will be present also at the Genoa International Boat Show, held from October 1 to 6.

As the second model in the range renewal journey, the new 70-foot yacht points up the on-board living experience with solutions that maximise comfort but never compromise Itama’s signature sporty feel and timeless elegance. Designed for lovers of true freedom on the water, Itama 70’s vision of the open yacht concept is a space to enjoy to the full, where every setting is designed to promote wellbeing and a convivial atmosphere.

The result of collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and the Group Engineering Department, with exteriors by Vallicelli Design and interiors by IdeaeItalia, this new open yacht offers a contemporary take on the brand’s iconic stylistic hallmarks, featuring a pared-back design language that preserves Itama’s heritage while projecting it into the future.

The standout features include the spacious sun pad fitted flush with the foredeck, the large side windows that give the hull a sweeping profile, and a cockpit designed to be at the heart of life on board, where the relaxation and social areas interact naturally with the helm station. The lower deck features three cabins with en-suite bathrooms, arranged in a layout that showcases comfortable, light-filled spaces and seamless continuity, making every stay on board an even more enjoyable experience. Absolute comfort, but also outstanding performance, in a pairing imprinted in Itama’s DNA. The new model is in fact powered by twin MAN V12 engines: in the standard version, two units rated at 1,400 HP deliver a top speed of 37 knots and a cruising speed of 33 knots, while the optional configuration with two 1,550 HP MAN V12 units increases the top speed to 39 knots and the cruising speed to 35 knots (preliminary data).
