Following her world debut at the Palm Beach International Boat Show earlier this year, the Galeon 520 FLY is now revealed in greater depth as Galeon Yachts unveils additional model details alongside her full production photo session.

Positioned in the core of Galeon’s next-generation flybridge line, the 520 FLY is a clear step forward in the brand’s design approach. She offers generous living spaces, clearly defined functional areas and a comfortable onboard atmosphere, made for owners who value privacy, practical use and modern styling.

Built at the second-generation, family owned shipyard in Gdańsk, where more than 2,800 yachts have been delivered since 1996, the 520 FLY reflects decades of inhouse craftsmanship combined with the distinctive exterior styling of Tony Castro.

“The 520 FLY is a very important model for us and for the future of our flybridge range,” says Marta Śledziewska, Head of PR & Marketing Department at Galeon Yachts. “She combines the design language our clients recognize with a new level of space optimization, functionality and refined detailing. The response we saw in Palm Beach confirms that this yacht truly answers the expectations of today’s owners.”

Exterior and deck concept

The 520 FLY introduces a carefully balanced exterior profile defined by clean lines and expansive glazing, emphasizing natural light while preserving interior volume.

The expansive flybridge is arranged as a true social destination. Centered around a large, comfortable sofa configuration, it offers a welcoming space for dining, relaxation and open-air entertaining with panoramic sea views. Improved ergonomics and circulation enhance usability, creating a practical yet elegant upper-deck experience.

The model incorporates Galeon’s signature drop-down side balconies, fully re-engineered for smoother and more intuitive operation. Larger than previous generations and equipped with integrated glazing that reveals views of the sea below, the balconies expand the beam from 4.61 m to an impressive 6.7 m when deployed, significantly increasing usable living space at anchor.

On the main deck, the galley and dining area form a cohesive open-plan layout with direct cockpit access, ensuring seamless flow between interior and exterior living zones and supporting effortless movement throughout the yacht.

Interior and design

The interior concept, developed in collaboration with InSitu & Partners, is presented in the Amber theme from the Mediterranean palette.

Inspired by warm, rich tones and sophisticated contrasts, the Amber interior delivers a distinctive, design-forward character. High-gloss lacquered finishes are paired with brass-toned accents, refined detailing and carefully selected premium fabrics. The result is an elegant yet welcoming atmosphere that blends modern styling with Galeon’s renowned attention to craftsmanship and finish.

Excellent headroom, refined ambient lighting and abundant storage throughout create a calm, residential feel that is ideal for extended stays on board.

Accommodation

Below deck, the 520 FLY provides accommodation for up to six guests across three well-appointed cabins.

The full-beam master suite, accessed via a private entrance and featuring an ensuite bathroom, delivers a true owner-focused retreat. The forward VIP cabin is bright and spacious with generous storage. The third guest cabin is fitted with a sliding bed system, allowing configuration as either a double or twin cabin depending on guest needs.

Two bathrooms serve the guest areas efficiently, while an optional skipper’s cabin adds flexibility for extended cruising. An alternative configuration allows for a tender garage in place of crew accommodation.

Engineering and Performance

Combining transformative spaces, improved ergonomics and forward-thinking engineering, the 520 FLY confidently sets a new benchmark in the 50 to 55 ft flybridge segment.
