Cantiere del Pardo: three Cannes World Premieres and new investments

The Group is using the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival to set out a long-term growth strategy focused on three key areas: industrial investment, product development and closer engagement with its owner communities.

With the market going through a natural period of change, Cantiere del Pardo is maintaining its focus on the years ahead, investing in the capacity, products and people needed to take advantage of future opportunities.

“Our approach is simple: we keep investing today so that we are ready to grow tomorrow,” says Marcello Veronesi, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo. “Since Oniverse Group became the owner of Cantiere del Pardo, we have maintained a clear long-term vision, committing significant resources to our facilities, our products and our people. What we are presenting in Cannes today is a direct result of that strategy.”

Expanding the industrial platform
A major part of the Group’s investment programme is the expansion of its production facilities. The first phase of Cantiere del Pardo’s new plant in Forlì is due to open by the end of 2026, with the full project scheduled for completion in 2027. The development will add more than 35,000 square metres of production space.

The additional capacity will support the future growth of all three brands – Pardo Yachts, Grand Soleil Yachts and VanDutch Yachts – while keeping Forlì firmly at the centre of the Group’s manufacturing operations and identity.

The investment programme will continue in spring 2027 with the opening of the new Launching & Welcome Centre in Marina di Ravenna.

Designed to serve both operational and customer-facing functions, the facility will allow a significant number of sailing and motor yachts to be launched directly from the site. It will also provide a new base for owners to meet the brands, explore different models and get out on the water for sea trials. The aim is to turn what is essentially an operational facility into a dedicated hub for the ownership experience.
Three world premieres at Cannes
Product development is another key part of Cantiere del Pardo’s long-term investment strategy, and this year’s Cannes show sees three world premieres across the Group’s brands.

Pardo Yachts is unveiling the new Pardo GT65, the latest expression of the brand’s GT concept. The yacht draws on the experience gained with the Pardo GT52 and GT75, as well as feedback from more than 70 owners. Their input helped shape the layout, with the design team focusing on the best possible balance of space, comfort and life on board.

Pardo Yachts has opted for a single, carefully developed layout designed to make the most of every square metre. The GT65 also takes a straightforward approach to specification. A comprehensive range of essential equipment comes as standard, while a selection of options allows owners to tailor the yacht to their individual needs.

Cannes will also mark the European debut of the Pardo 43 Outboard.

For Grand Soleil Yachts, Cannes sees the world premiere of two new models: the Grand Soleil Plus 80 and the Grand Soleil 60.

The Grand Soleil Plus 80 takes the Plus concept into a new size category, offering a higher degree of customisation than the standard Grand Soleil range. The Plus line was conceived as a development platform for new ideas in design, materials and technology – solutions that can subsequently feed into the wider range. The strategy is already delivering results. Since the first 72-footer was launched in 2023, 15 Plus yachts have been delivered to owners in eight countries.

The Plus 80 now opens the next chapter. A second hull, with a flush-deck configuration, is currently under construction and will be completed in the coming months, while further developments of the line are already under way.

The second Grand Soleil world premiere is the Grand Soleil 60, a yacht conceived primarily for offshore and bluewater cruising. The design combines Grand Soleil’s performance-oriented DNA with features aimed at extended time at sea, bringing together sailing performance and long-range cruising capability.

Standard equipment includes hydraulic vang and backstay systems, a furling headsail, electronic engine controls at the helm station, and 1,000-litre fuel and fresh-water tanks.
The specification is designed to provide the autonomy required for longer offshore passages, while retaining the sailing characteristics expected of a Grand Soleil.

Building a community around the brands
For Cantiere del Pardo, the strategy goes beyond boats. Building for the future also means creating stronger, long-term relationships with owners. The Group is therefore continuing to invest in events that bring together the communities around its three brands.

In 2026, CdP Week made its debut in Porto Cervo, joining established events such as the Grand Soleil Cup and Pardo Rendez-Vous. Together, the events attracted several hundred participants.

Following the success of its first edition, CdP Week will return to Porto Cervo from 9–12 June 2027, again in collaboration with the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.

Cantiere del Pardo and Luna Rossa: partnership renewed for 2027
The Group is also looking ahead to the 38th America’s Cup.
Cantiere del Pardo has renewed its partnership with Luna Rossa for a third consecutive edition, ahead of the 2027 America’s Cup. The relationship is also moving to a new level, with Cantiere del Pardo becoming an Official Partner, following its previous role as Official Supplier.

The partnership is built around a shared set of values: Italian excellence, continuous research, performance and innovation. Both organisations have the sea at the heart of what they do, albeit from very different perspectives. Their expertise is complementary, as is their ambition to keep pushing beyond established boundaries. The collaboration will extend across the Group’s three brands – Pardo Yachts, VanDutch Yachts and Grand Soleil Yachts – with a selection of yachts supporting Luna Rossa on its road to Naples 2027, both for operational activities and hospitality.

For Cantiere del Pardo, the renewed partnership is another step in a broader growth strategy based on a simple principle: invest and innovate today to build the foundations for tomorrow’s growth.

With three world premieres, a major expansion of its industrial footprint and a renewed partnership with one of Italy’s leading America’s Cup teams, Cantiere del Pardo arrives at Cannes 2026 with a clear focus on the future – and on strengthening the international position of Pardo Yachts, Grand Soleil Yachts and VanDutch Yachts.
