Pearl Yachts announces its participation in the 2023 Southampton International Boat Show, to be held from the 15th to the 24th of September. Guests at the stand will find the brand well represented by the Pearl 62, Bill Dixon’s popular flybridge design. The unit on display features the Luxury Interior by Kelly Hoppen CBE, who designs exclusively for Pearl in the sector.
Since its launch in 2020, the Pearl 62 has enjoyed huge success and rave reviews. The model’s thoughtful design and high standards have earned prestigious awards as well as partnerships, including Volvo Penta. For a series of demonstrations at the Southampton Boat Show, the hi-tech propulsion leader has upgraded the Pearl 62 with the new Assisted Docking feature, which uses data to simplify piloting and enhance control. Pearl was an ideal candidate to work with Volvo for its meticulous workmanship, clean, quiet, reliable installations, and forward thinking approach.
Looking ahead to the 2023 Southampton Boat Show, Pearl Yachts Managing Director, Iain Smallridge commented, “Southampton is our home event and with the Pearl 62 on display, we are prepared to show guests what makes our brand so exciting and showcase the new technology from Volvo. Luckily, she’s a model that can handle attention.”
Measuring 18.6m, the Pearl 62 is the only yacht in the size-class to offer accommodations for eight guests across four cabins, including a full beam owner’s suite with a private entrance, plus the owner’s choice of a crew cabin or jet ski garage. Other highlights include an aft galley open to the cockpit, a vast flybridge, a foredeck lounge, and the benefits of Volvo IPS pod drive propulsion, including joystick control.
