Saxdor Yachts, the visionary Finnish shipyard, is gearing up to participate in boot Düsseldorf 2025, taking place from January 18th to 26th. Renowned for its groundbreaking design and uncompromising performance, Saxdor will showcase an exceptional lineup, including the German premiere of the Saxdor 340 GTWA and the renewed Saxdor 320 GTC, and introduce innovative solutions designed to enhance the boating experience, such as the Fathom e-power system.

Adding to the anticipation, two Saxdor models are finalists for two of the most prestigious industry awards presented during boot Düsseldorf, with the Saxdor 340 GTWA nominated for the European Powerboat of the Year Award and the Saxdor 400 GTC up for the Motor Boat Award.

At the Düsseldorf boat show, in partnership with Navico Group, Saxdor will become the first boatbuilder outside the US to introduce the Fathom® e-power system, an integrated lithium-ion auxiliary power management solution that sets a new standard in onboard energy efficiency. At the heart of the system is a generator function integrated into a special version of the Mercury V10-400 that allows the engines to act as generators, whether the boat is stationary or underway. When paired, the engines can produce up to 12 kW of power, delivering it directly to the 48-volt Mastervolt lithium batteries for maximum recharge efficiency with minimal energy loss. By combining cutting-edge digital controls, intelligent load management, and advanced monitoring capabilities, the Fathom® system ensures seamless and reliable power for all onboard appliances, while also eliminating the noise, vibration and fumes associated with traditional generator experiences.

“The Fathom e-power system is a game-changer for onboard power management, and we’re thrilled to introduce it to our customers in collaboration with Navico Group,” commented Daniel Scharf, Chief Product Officer at Saxdor Yachts. “For boat owners, this means nearly ‘unlimited’ power for high-demand systems such as air conditioning and stabilizers—offering an advanced alternative to traditional diesel generators. By debuting this innovation on the Saxdor 400 GTC and expanding it to models equipped with V10-400 engines, we’re redefining energy efficiency and onboard comfort, reflecting our brand’s vision for modern boating.”

“Saxdor is a valued customer, and we are thrilled about our collaboration to deliver a revolutionary power solution to the 400 GTC,” said John Bennett, VP and General Manager, of Power Systems at Navico Group. “Our 20 years of experience with lithium batteries, combined with our expertise in integrating our comprehensive product portfolio, have allowed us to develop a premium power system that will significantly enhance how Saxdor customers manage and monitor their power consumption, ensuring a more enjoyable and seamless experience on the water.”

Making its debut at boot, the renewed Saxdor 320 GTC is on display showcasing a range of enhancements that take its design and functionality to the next level offering a fresh perspective on how space is used on board. Among the highlights are a reimagined aft layout, featuring a new sofa and updated table design, as well as upgraded upholstery in the wheelhouse, which elevates the interior with a more refined look and feel. These updates offer a glimpse into the careful refinements made to the 320 GTC, enhancing comfort, practicality, and the overall onboard experience.

The Saxdor 340 GTWA, for the first time at a German boat show, stands out as the first wheelhouse walkaround model in the Saxdor range. Distinguished by unique large side terraces – an exceptional feature for a boat of this size that truly sets this model apart in its category –, it establishes a new benchmark in design and performance for boating in all weather conditions. Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the 270 GT0, the 320 GTO as well as both versions of the flagship 400 Series, the 400 GTO and 400 GTC, showcasing Saxdor’s finest engineering and forward-thinking design.
