Wally exhibits some of its most recognizable and iconic yachts afloat at the Palma International Boat Show, running this year from today to April 30th.
The innovative Monegasque yachting brand brings one of its most stunning sailing machines and a wallytender to the Balearic playground of Palma de Mallorca.
Among the rollcall is the beautiful 23.99m Bombarda, the Farr-designed Wally 80 launched in 2004, whose fast lines have been repeatedly proven in Med maxi regattas. And there is also an example of the achingly sleek wallytender48 on show, proving just how much joy there can be in dayboating.
“This is the first time that Wally has been present at the Palma International Boat Show, and it really looks like a perfect match,” says Wally Managing Director Stefano de Vivo. “Mallorca goes from strength to strength as an authentic centre for sailing superyachts in beautiful surroundings, while Wally’s yachts have always been at the vanguard of performance, innovation and sheer good looks.”
At the other end of the scale is the wallytender48, with completely new lines from 2019. As a thoroughbred dayboat, exhilarating speeds of up to 38 knots are possible from the twin Volvo Penta IPS650 inboards. Fore and aft lounges and extending bulwarks put the focus on open-air living, although there is also a fabulous double cabin below deck.
Visitors to the Palma International Boat Show also have a chance to see the mould-breaking wallywhy200, KIKI V, which has been gathering plaudits since its launch in 2022.
