-Videoworks is introducing itself at METS 2019 with a stand that focuses on innovation dedicated to onboard entertainment.
In the Videoworks area, visitors will be able to see:

- SAM: Slim Audio Master, the innovative audio management system that combines high performance and great space-saving;
- Invisible Speakers, the system created to transform matter and materials into a sound reproduction system with outstanding performance.
- Participation in METS confirms the company’s interest in the northern European market, as shown by the constant growth of the Dutch company Videoworks Europe BV
- The Dutch exhibition also represents the occasion to discover the latest systems implemented by Videoworks on board the most important yachts launched this year, such as the 39.7m Extra 130 Alloy

Videoworks, a leader in the audio/video, entertainment, IT and home automation sector, is participating in METS (Amsterdam, 19-21 November 2019). Its stand in the Superyacht Pavilion 10.111 provides an opportunity to discover the secrets of onboard technologies thanks to the team of the Italian company, which for over 20 years have been offering customers their know-how to create the best technological integration. Fans of technological innovation, new audio systems and invisible speakers will be able to view a rich portfolio of new products in the Videoworks stand.

Videoworks Europe BV- The Dutch base is the perfect entry point into northern Europe
The participation of the Videoworks Group in METS is significant because it confirms the constant commitment to the northern European market, as shown by the growth of the group’s Dutch company, Videoworks Europe BV. Its office is in Aalsmeer, in the heart of the Dutch shipbuilding district: this choice highlights the company’s determination to be increasingly closer to its customers in every project phase.

The purest of pure sounds

The excellence of the audio systems which - on one hand - deliver pure high-quality sound reproduction and - on the other hand - allows owners to host a party on board, has become a crucial aspect of the integration of onboard systems.
In terms of sound management, during this Dutch event, Videoworks presents SAM (Slim Audio Master), the innovative rack created to optimise size and space-saving on board and to enhance the system's performance.

Jointly designed by the R&D departments of Videoworks and of Leaff company, manufactured by the latter company exclusively for the naval sector of Videoworks, SAM controls up to 16 audio outputs and allows to calibrate sound perfectly in every individual setting while guaranteeing space-saving. SAM’s optimised functions include the ability to equalize sound in every individual setting (optimising sound reproduction), and thanks to the native integration of Dante, the highest standard for digital transmission over professional audio networks.

The SAM system in the Videoworks stand will also manage another new product introduced by the Italian company: the invisible speakers, which transform materials into audio reproduction systems with high, medium and low frequency sound and excellent performance. The invisible speakers create “sound walls” by using the Mover technology developed by Power Soft (a company based in Tuscany), designed for the world of video gaming and reconfigured by Videoworks experts to obtain the best performance.

The possibilities offered by this technology, perfected and integrated by Videoworks, are considerable. Visitors in the stand will be able to hear and personally experience the performance levels achieved.

Systems on board: the 39,7m Extra 130 Alloy
The Dutch exhibition also represents the occasion to discover the latest systems implemented by Videoworks on board the most important yachts launched this year. Thanks to the latest-generation Apple TV 4K and Sonos audio system, Videoworks has equipped the 39.7-metre Extra 130 Alloy with everything that makes the experience on board one of a kind. The Videoworks integration allows users to select the content directly from the Audio/Video iTunes library and then play it on the Apple TV in each cabin. All the Audio/Video contents in iTunes can be managed via Apple TV and no synchronization is required. When the content is recorded, it quickly starts via the Apple iPad mini provided by Videoworks and that is based on the control system of Creston products.

Last, but not least, is the hybrid system with centralized core in one rack and local mini-racks that contain local sources. Videoworks has installed A/V devices in local racks and, where possible, other electronic devices in a Rack-Room. Centralizing all electronic devices in the main racks allows to optimize installation, making it quicker and easier. Additionally, any technical problem can be solved minimizing its impact on life on board.
