Evinrude offer 10 Years of warrenty on all E-Tec Engines
Lausanne, Switzerland, March 2017 – BRP (TSX:DOO) and its Evinrude brand is launching for spring an unrivalled and unprecedented offer on the European out-board market. For the first time, an out-board manufacturer is offering 10 years of warranty to its customers. The limited spring promotion will cover all E-TEC engines sold from March 1 till June 30, 2017.
This offer is a landmark in the out-board industry; it echoes to the new Evinrude’s communication campaign “Make your own waves!” deployed throughout Europe and aiming at urging boaters to think differently and question the prejudices on the market.
It is also about Evinrude making a point following the enforcement of the new RCD directive, and restoring clarity regarding inaccurate statements proclaiming the upcoming ban of 2- stroke technology across Europe. Offering 10 years of warranty is a way for Evinrude to express its commitment to the business for the next years to come.
The 10-year warranty is valid for all residents of the European Union for engines sold by Evinrude dealers located in Metropolitan France, Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Luxembourg, Germany or The Netherlands. Eligible Evinrude outboard engines include all new and unused 25 hp and above Evinrude sold for repower or package. Amongst other advantages, the warranty is fully transferrable from customer to customer.*
