The Baglietto range continues to stand out for elegance, innovation, and stylistic consistency. Two models exemplify this: the DOM133 and the T52, two superyachts that have won over the international market with impressive numbers. The former already counts nine units launched, three of which in the first months of 2025 alone, while the latter has reached eight sales in three years, two of them in a hybrid version. Both yachts will take center stage at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, confirming the pivotal role of the Ligurian brand in high-end yachting.
DOM133: livable elegance
The name DOM, derived from the Latin Domus (“home”), encapsulates the design philosophy of the DOM133: to offer generous spaces and an architecture capable of delivering the comfort of a residence, even on the open sea.
Built entirely in aluminum, the yacht measures 41 meters in length with a beam of 8.70 meters. The exterior design, penned by Stefano Vafiadis, draws inspiration from the automotive world, while the interiors focus on a mix of warmth and refinement, conveying the feeling of being at home even on long voyages.
Key features include the liveability of the outdoor areas and the sustainable soul of the project. The shallow draft (2.10 m) allows access to destinations such as the Caribbean or the Bahamas, while the aluminum construction ensures lightness, reduced consumption, and extensive customization options.
As Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto, emphasizes: “Aluminum offers design flexibility that translates into hulls rich in details and complex surfaces, impossible to achieve with other materials. Not to mention the ability to modify during construction and personalize each yacht, especially the interiors, which are the real strength of the model.”
The DOM133 is powered by two Caterpillar C32 engines, delivering a top speed of 17 knots and enabling safe transoceanic crossings.
T52: the yacht redefining connection with the sea
Unveiled as a world premiere in Portofino in May 2023, the T52 has established itself as one of the shipyard’s most ambitious and representative projects. Created in collaboration with Francesco Paszkowski Design—responsible for both exterior and interior design, the latter co-designed with Margherita Casprini—the T52 combines sleek proportions, elegance, and a layout conceived to maximize both visual and physical connection with the sea.
A defining feature is the open stern across three levels, including a beach club and a pool with a movable floor that, when closed, extends the usable deck surface. The upper deck features a panoramic veranda with sliding glass panels on three sides, hosting a dining and lounge area usable in all weather conditions.
Another innovative solution is the retractable walkway connecting the forward lounge to the 24-meter sun deck, creating a visual and functional continuum between the yacht’s different areas. All this while staying under the 500 GT gross tonnage threshold, yet offering surprisingly spacious and well-conceived interiors.
“The success of the T52 shows how Baglietto is able to interpret market evolution,” adds Ermetto, “by offering yachts that look to the future while always remaining true to the brand’s DNA.”
