Nanni develops its first methanol-powered dual fuel engine
Nanni is accelerating its work on alternative propulsion with the development of its first methanol-powered dual fuel engine. The project, carried out together with Swedish company ScandiNAOS AB, involves a dual fuel version of a John Deere-based engine intended for marine generator sets. Tests performed according to IACS standards and in the presence of RINA highlighted significant emissions reductions while maintaining unchanged performance and operational continuity
