ICE Yachts expands its range with a new expression of excellence in the world of bluewater sailing: the ICE 70 Suite, designed by Felci Yacht Design, conceived to offer the owner a superior sailing experience focused on comfort, quietness and autonomy.
This special version of the ICE 70 stands out for its unique interior layout, which dedicates over 16 square metres to the owner’s suite, arranged athwartships in the aft section of the yacht. The space reflects the standards of luxury hospitality, with a central bed facing a large wall-mounted screen, a generously sized walk-in wardrobe, and a private bathroom finished with fine materials.
The entire ICE 70 Suite project revolves around the concept of absolute comfort. All potentially noisy systems — from the generator to the air conditioning and autoclave pumps — have been positioned far from the sleeping area, in fully soundproofed technical compartments. The result is a further reduction in interior noise, 3 decibels lower than the already remarkably quiet standard ICE 70.
From a technical standpoint, the yacht introduces several cutting-edge solutions, starting with the 48-Volt electrical system, designed to reduce consumption and increase energy efficiency. On board are ultrasonic antifouling sensors and diffusers, extending the life of the hull coating, while 48V Victron lithium iron phosphate batteries, fireproof and highly reliable, allow for many hours of air conditioning without running the generator.
The new ICE 70 Suite is powered by a 230 hp Yanmar diesel engine, providing motor cruising speeds comparable to those of a 100-footer. An Onan 13.5 kW generator ensures full energy autonomy during long passages.
The yacht is also equipped with twin proportional bow and stern thrusters, both featuring latest-generation 48V brushless motors, ensuring precise and silent manoeuvring in confined spaces and harbours.
The collaboration with Felci Yacht Design translates into a balanced and refined layout. The interiors are bright and airy, featuring high-quality woods and fabrics that create a warm yet contemporary atmosphere. In addition to the master suite, there are two finely detailed mini-suites and a comfortable crew cabin.
Among the most advanced features is the Cariboni hydraulic lifting keel, which allows the draft to vary from 4.50 metres to just 2.75 metres, greatly expanding cruising possibilities in shallower waters. The JP3 single carbon rudder ensures precision and sensitivity at the helm even in demanding sea conditions.
Every detail of the ICE 70 Suite combines luxury and functionality. Air conditioning is installed in all cabins, while the galley — designed to professional standards — features refrigerators with a total capacity of up to 400 litres, a watermaker, hot and cold gas system, and a waste macerator.
The hull and deckhouse windows are fitted with an innovative liquid crystal dimming system, allowing them to be darkened or frosted at the touch of a button, eliminating the need for traditional curtains.
The aft section houses a tender garage for a dinghy up to 3.40 metres, operated by a carbon rotating crane patented by ICE Yachts.
The deck layout reflects the same focus on ergonomics and relaxation: large sunbathing areas and dedicated social spaces make the deck a convivial and safe environment, ideal both for long-distance cruising and at anchor. The optimized hull lines and balanced weight distribution ensure a smooth, stable sailing experience even with a reduced crew.
