The 2025 racing season confirms once again Wally’s central role in the international offshore and maxi yacht racing landscape. From the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, the fleet demonstrated consistency in performance, design quality and a technical progression visible across all models—from the wallycento yachts to the latest wallyrocket platforms.
The campaign opened in Antigua at the RORC Nelson’s Cup Series, where Bullitt — a 93-foot fast cruiser racer — led the Maxi Class, followed by the wallycento yachts V and Galateia, finishing second and fourth respectively. A few weeks later, V and Galateia dominated the St Barths Bucket Regatta, securing first and second place in the Les Cent Pieds & Les Gazelles division.
The positive trend continued at the North Sound Maxi Regatta in the British Virgin Islands: V scored a double win, overall and in class, with Bullitt in second place and Galateia closing in the top five.
With the move to Europe, PalmaVela opened the Mediterranean season. Tilakkhana II (wallycento) and Rose (wally80) took the first two places in the Maxi Class, while in the Spirit of Tradition category the victory went to Little Thila (wallynano37).
In the Tyrrhenian Sea, the wallyrocket51 Django made an immediate impact, winning the Italian Tyrrhenian Championship on its debut in Sorrento and confirming the potential of the new high-performance platform.
At the IMA Maxi European Championship, Wally achieved one of the most representative results of the season: Galateia, V and Bullitt closed the podium in the Maxi 1 Class, while in Maxi 3 Sensei and Sud finished fourth and seventh respectively.
Offshore, the fleet displayed balance and reliability. At the Loro Piana Giraglia, Galateia, V and the wallyrocket71 Django 7X ranked among the best performers in Maxi A, while Sud reached the podium in Maxi B during the inshore races in Saint-Tropez.
At the Cyclades Cup in Greece, Galma (wallywind110), Wally B (107’) and Barong D (110’) formed an all-Wally podium in the Meltemi class, proving versatility in strong-wind conditions. The sequence of results continued at the Palma Superyacht Cup, where Rose secured the overall win, and at the Mirpuri Foundation Sailing Trophy in Cascais, where Green Eyes (107’ fast cruiser racer) claimed the line honours.
Across the major offshore classics, including the Admiral’s Cup and the Rolex Fastnet Race, the wallyrocket51 Django confirmed its competitiveness, finishing third in its class and contributing to Team Django’s third place overall, with partial victories in both the Channel Race and the coastal races.
The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup in Porto Cervo marked one of the key moments of the season: Galateia won the Maxi 1 World Championship, leading an all-Wally podium alongside Bullitt and V. Still in Porto Cervo, the wallyrocket71 Django 7X secured the Maxi Grand Prix World Championship, while Inti (94’) took second among the Supermaxi entries.
The calendar continued with further significant results: Esense dominated the Performance Corinthian division at Ibiza Joysail, and Pareltje stood out in the Modern Classic class at the Régates Royales in Cannes.
The season concluded in Saint-Tropez, where the wallyrocket71 Django 7X won the Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez Trophy in the Maxi Grand Prix, while V secured the Trophée Edmond de Rothschild in Maxi 1. Lyra, Rose and Sud reinforced the depth of the fleet’s competitiveness, with Galateia winning the IMA Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge 2025, followed by V in second place. The new wallyrocket51 Kilara II impressed with its early performance just one week after launch, confirming the potential of the latest high-performance design.
Alongside the racing activity, Wally celebrated the season with The Bow Glows, a programme developed with La Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez and supported by the partnership with Range Rover. The week concluded with a gala dinner curated by Alajmo Eventi and hosted at Casa Wally inside the Musée de l’Annonciade — an occasion to present the brand’s design identity through carefully curated experiences.
From the Caribbean to the French Riviera, the 2025 season further consolidated Wally’s position within the international racing scene. A sequence of podiums, line honours and world titles that, beyond results, highlights a coherent engineering vision: platform optimisation, evolution of the wallyrocket line and continuity in the fast cruiser racer philosophy that has long defined the brand.
