Sessa Marine chose Lake Iseo to share with dealers, press and partners a key step in its industrial journey. Not a starting point, but a phase already underway, built on a solid structure, a clear vision and work that has already been initiated.
Today, Sessa is part of the Vieira family and is integrated into an organised industrial group, with an international outlook and a long-term management approach. On these foundations, the shipyard is strengthening its operational and production structure, while keeping its identity at the centre.
Opening the day, Roberto Tummolo, Commercial Director of Sessa Marine, framed the moment as a decisive transition for the company: a phase in which the work already carried out finds its first clear synthesis in terms of product, range and positioning.
The strategy is structured along three directions: strengthening the brand, consistent evolution of the range and integration with key technological partners. A path already in progress that is progressively making the product clearer, more solid and more competitive. The positioning remains Sessa’s traditional one: accessible premium.
Italian design, build quality, onboard livability and ease of use, with a concrete balance between content and price. An identity supported by over 20,000 boats in the water and a consolidated presence in international markets.
In this context, the two lines – Key Largo and Yacht – take on a complementary and central role in the brand’s future development.
The Key Largo line represents the broadest and most established base: over 8,000 units built and widespread diffusion, making it one of the historical pillars of the shipyard.
The Yacht line, up to 70 feet, represents the natural evolution towards more articulated products, where design, comfort and technical content reach a more advanced synthesis.
The new course acts on both: on one side through a deep evolution of the open range, on the other through a progressive restyling of the Yacht line, already underway, to ensure greater consistency and continuity of language across the entire production.
The KL25 is the first product to make this evolution tangible. It is not simply a new model, but the manifesto of the new Sessa.
It introduces a more contemporary design language, greater optimisation of volumes – internal, external and overall – and a broader, more transversal usage logic. It is a boat designed to adapt to different uses: young, dynamic, but at the same time suitable for a family context.
The concept is that of a “smart” boat: easy to use, functional, capable of simplifying the onboard experience without sacrificing quality and substance.
The stylistic language of this new phase was introduced by Daniele Mazzon, who illustrated the work carried out on Key Largo 25 and Key Largo 40. The project is based on the concept of evolutionary continuity: starting from the brand’s historical identity and developing it in a more contemporary direction, working on proportions, surfaces and spatial organisation. The KL40, presented in the water, represents a concrete preview of this language.
Although not yet fully unveiled, the KL25 clearly represents the direction taken: a product that is more readable, more coherent and more aligned with real market needs.
The Key Largo 25 will be officially presented in October at the Genoa International Boat Show and will take part in the main industry design awards.
Supporting this evolution, Sessa Marine has structurally strengthened its collaborations with leading industrial partners.
Garmin, represented by Carlo Gagliardi, highlighted the central role of digital integration and onboard systems in simplifying the navigation experience.
Yamaha Motor, with Nicola Fracasso, underlined the value of a long-standing partnership that is now being renewed in a more structured way, with particular attention to reliability, performance and propulsion system integration.
These partnerships represent a key element of the new industrial platform, contributing to increasing perceived quality, reliability and product consistency.
The path undertaken by Sessa Marine is therefore clear: not a change of identity, but a concrete and structured evolution, built on solid foundations and aimed at consistent long-term development.
And the Key Largo 25 is the first, tangible step in this direction.
