With the new Seadeck 9, Azimut extends its Seadeck Series with a model designed around a lifestyle in which outdoor spaces play a central role. The new 26-metre yacht further develops the concept introduced with the range, focusing on seamless continuity between interior and exterior areas, a closer connection with the sea and improved energy efficiency.
The yacht’s defining feature is the new Pool Deck, an evolution of Azimut’s Fun Island concept. The aft section is arranged across three interconnected levels linked by twin symmetrical staircases leading directly into the main saloon, creating a single uninterrupted space from the water’s edge to the interior. Fold-down side terraces further expand the available deck area, while the 7-square-metre transformer swim platform provides direct access to the sea. The integrated pool, movable sun loungers, amphitheatre-style seating and convertible dining table complete an area conceived for socialising and extended time at anchor.
The exterior styling is by Alberto Mancini, who has maintained strong visual continuity between the stern, the side profile and the flybridge. The design favours intuitive circulation throughout the yacht while preserving a clean profile, enhanced by the fully concealed anchor integrated into the bow.
The interiors have been designed by Matteo Thun & Antonio Rodriguez, whose approach combines natural materials, abundant natural light and a constant visual dialogue with the surrounding environment. On the Main Deck, the saloon naturally extends the aft lounge thanks to full-height glazing and a fully disappearing glass door, virtually eliminating the boundary between inside and outside. Two interior décor schemes are available: one featuring light walnut and the other pale oak.
The lower deck is centred around the owner’s suite, conceived as a private retreat inspired by contemporary eco-resorts. Integrated washbasins, a dedicated writing desk and carefully designed living spaces encourage longer stays on board. The accommodation is completed by a VIP cabin, two guest cabins and separate crew circulation routes designed to preserve guests’ privacy during both cruising and time at anchor.
From a technical perspective, the Seadeck 9 belongs to Azimut’s Low Emission Yacht family. The planing hull, developed in partnership with Names, has been engineered to reach planing speeds earlier than conventional designs, increasing the operating range in which the yacht delivers optimum fuel efficiency. Around 40% of the structure is built in carbon fibre to reduce overall weight, while propulsion is provided by a triple Volvo Penta IPS installation compatible with hybrid-electric technology. According to Azimut, these solutions reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 30% over an average year of operation compared with yachts of similar size equipped with conventional hulls and shaft-line propulsion systems.
The yacht also features Azimut’s Hotel Mode, powered by a dedicated 60 kWh lithium battery pack, allowing the generators to remain switched off while at anchor. The system provides up to four hours of daytime autonomy and up to eight hours overnight, while continuing to power stabilisers, air conditioning, 220V outlets and onboard entertainment systems. The battery pack can be fully recharged in approximately five hours from shore power or four hours using the generator.
The Seadeck 9 is also the largest yacht ever built at Azimut’s Avigliana shipyard, which has recently benefited from a €50 million investment programme aimed at expanding its production capabilities. With this model, Azimut further develops the Seadeck philosophy, combining contemporary design, onboard liveability and energy efficiency in what now becomes the flagship of the range.
