At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026, Cranchi Yachts presents two new models and two project previews. With the A48 O/B and the A32 O/B, the shipyard moves into outboard propulsion: two different boats that share the same design philosophy and the same propulsion, chosen for its outstanding performance, efficiency and versatility. On the stand, the A64 and the A47 are also previewed, ahead of their world premieres early next year.
A48 O/B: THE EVOLUTION OF THE LUXURY TENDER
Of the two outboard debuts, the A48 O/B is the completely new model: born from the A46 concept, it reinterprets that identity in a more versatile form, with greater protection, more dynamism and new possibilities for onboard liveability.
Exterior: a new architecture.
The design language has been reworked, with an enclosing, reverse-raked windscreen, a brand-new T-top and colour-matched superstructure detailing that give the boat a striking presence, more akin to a larger yacht. The walkaround spirit remains intact, while the two fold-down bulwarks extend the usable deck space.
Sociable living on board.
Beneath a generous T-top sit a sofa and a sunpad with a storage well for water toys, while the bar-galley unit, complete with sink, fridge, ice-maker and hob, is on hand for those social moments.
The helm station has three single seats and a forward-projecting windscreen.
Connection with the water.
Aft, the side pods incorporate a boarding step, with a hydraulic up/down ladder to port and a pull-out manual ladder to starboard. The fold-down bulwarks create a wide, uninterrupted beach area.
Elegance below deck.
Below deck are a separate owner’s cabin and a second cabin with two longitudinal single berths. The layout is completed by a spacious bathroom with a separate shower, a vanity unit and lightweight marble on the sole and in the shower.
“With the A48 O/B, we’ve evolved the luxury tender concept towards something more complete. The idea was to preserve the freedom of the walkaround layout, while introducing greater protection and a new quality of space. The result is a versatile boat, able to adapt to different uses, with a strong and distinctive identity.” Christian Grande
A32 O/B: SAME DESIGN, NEW ENERGY
Alongside the A48 O/B, the A32, already presented at last year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, returns in a new outboard version that reinterprets its spirit with a sportier, more immediate character.
Exterior: freedom and functionality.
The layout stays true to the original concept, with sociable spaces and free-flowing movement on board. The outboard configuration makes the most of the boat’s versatility, suited to dynamic, informal use.
A stern reimagined around the water.
The engines called for a rethink of the stern area. The swim platform has been redesigned, with side pods housing the outboard engines, while a black steel rollbar, fitted with a carbon-fibre spoiler that integrates the stern light and the water-ski tow hook, protects them. The helm console has been redesigned for the new engines, with engine data and boat management shown on a 15” ultrawide Garmin display and a second 15” Garmin display used as a chartplotter.
Sporting spirit, comfort unchanged.
The A32 O/B adds towing solutions for activities such as water-skiing, in keeping with its more playful character. Comfort and customisation remain unchanged, with carefully finished interiors and premium materials.
“With the outboard version of the A32, we wanted to bring out the boat’s more instinctive side. It’s the same design architecture, but with a different attitude: freer, more immediate, more geared towards fun. Contact with the water becomes even more direct and natural, without losing its formal balance or quality of space.” Christian Grande
A64: THE PREVIEW
The A64 is previewed with a scale model. It belongs to Aria, Cranchi Yachts’ new category dedicated to open, dynamic boats designed for outdoor living and shared time at sea.
The project evolves the hull of the Sessantadue 62, reworked to create a crossover-spirited maxi tender that blends an open-boat character with new approaches to onboard living. On deck, the line between inside and outside dissolves: the deck becomes an extension of the outdoor spaces, with side openings onto the sea amidships and a living area that opens or closes as needed. Aft, a large central sunpad sits alongside the side terraces, while a retractable chaise longue opens the beach area onto the water. Forward, a large sunpad and a lounge with two facing sofas. Below deck, three cabins and three bathrooms, a guest galley and a décor with warm, contrasting tones.
A47: THE PROJECT
The A47 is the newest project in the Aria range, previewed at Cannes. It grows out of the A46 concept, designed by Christian Grande. It shares its architecture and interiors with the A48 O/B, while the stern and cockpit take their cue from the A46.
Its contemporary lines, with an enclosing, reverse-raked windscreen and a brand-new full-width T-top fitted with adjustable louvres, lighting and a hi-fi system, give it a striking presence, more akin to a larger yacht. The walkaround side decks link three areas on board: the central console with galley area, the foredeck sunpad on a Portuguese bridge and the stern.
Aft, the large sunpad and fold-down bulwarks extend the cockpit beyond five metres, creating two terraces over the water in continuity with the movable bathing platform; below, a garage houses a tender of up to two metres. Below deck, a separate owner’s cabin and a second cabin with two berths and a bathroom; power comes from twin Volvo Penta IPS D6 units, 480 hp each, with Cranchi Atelier customisation.
