Ocean Signal, a leading manufacturer in marine safety and communication equipment, is excited to announce the debut of its latest, most technologically advanced product range to date, at SMM Hamburg 2024.
This year’s showcase demonstrates Ocean Signal’s dedication and mission to elevate global marine safety standards and introduce the latest innovative, compliant safety technology available on the market.
The new and improved product line up for 2024 on display at SMM includes;
RescueME EDF2 (RTCM Approved E-Flare): A state-of-the-art electronic visual distress flare providing superior multi-color visibility, including new infrared technology. The new buoyant handheld electronic flare is compliant with new Radio Technical Commission for Maritime standards.
SafeSea V200 (GMDSS Survival Radio): A Global Maritime Distress and Safety System survival radio designed for exceptional durability and functionality in emergency scenarios.
SafeSea S200 (AIS SART): An Automatic Identification System Search and Rescue Transmitter that enhances search and rescue operations with precise location tracking. NFC Mobile app connectivity has been incorporated to provide easy to use SART programming, product details, and testing information.
RescueME MOB2 (Class M AIS Approved): An AIS/DSC Man Overboard device with Class M AIS approval, offering swift and accurate alerts for overboard incidents. NFC Mobile app connectivity has been incorporated to provide easy to use MOB programming, product details, and testing information.
SafeSea M200 (Class M AIS Approved): An AIS/121.5MHz robust Man Overboard device with Class M AIS approval, ensuring immediate and reliable distress signalling. NFC Mobile app connectivity has been incorporated to provide easy to use MOB programming, product details, and testing information.

2024’s exhibit builds on the success of Ocean Signal’s 2022 SMM exhibition, where the multiple industry award-winning PLB3 Personal Locator Beacon was introduced for the first time.
Other products of the impressive portfolio to be highlighted at the show include the SafeSea EPIRB3 PRO, an advanced AIS Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon designed for unparalleled performance and reliability in critical situations and RescueME PLB3, a compact and powerful Personal Locator Beacon that combines AIS and the global response capabilities of Cospas-Sarsat in an industry first, to ensure safety for mariners and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
