An ambitious and wide-ranging three-year outlook: with a 36% rise in turnover in 2023 and a further 33% increase expected in 2024, Sanguineti Chiavari expects to double its turnover by 2026, also thanks to 3.5 million Euro worth of investments. The transfer of the company headquarters to Casarza Ligure (GE) means the company can expand its premises by approximately 6,000 square metres in total, of which approximately 3,500 are indoors. This will allow the company to absorb the order book (currently full for 2024) and increase production capacity, also through a 35% increase in staff.

Sanguineti today is at the heart of the Quick Group's development plan, which, among the many strategic activities, includes an expansion of the functional production site to accommodate the growing challenges of the market, which include an almost full 2024 order book and unprecedented future prospects.

Furthermore, the Ligurian company will once again focus on specialised manpower, capable of satisfying the different needs of shipyards and shipowners, creating essentially tailor-made products. Therefore, in addition to the expansion of the workforce, a significant expansion of the machine fleet is also planned. This choice confirms how technological innovation is one of the fundamental pillars in the Group's growth project, allowing it to better manage in-house processes, from painting to mechanical processes such as turning, welding and milling, as well as water jet cutting.

It is a very important strategic transformation for a historic company such as Sanguineti Chiavari which, backed by 65 years of activity this year, confirms it is a company with considerable manufacturing skills and a brand recognised worldwide for quality and reliability, in a market segment with great development potential.

The 100% acquisition by Quick Group, a leading company in the production of nautical accessories, owned by Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR, Armònia SGR and the Marzucco family, was the first step in a project that aims to position Quick Group as a supplier of advanced systems in all segments of the nautical market. In addition to preserving the manufacturing quality of Sanguineti Chiavari’s current production set-up, Quick intends to develop new industrialised production lines to serve smaller vessels as well, using the Group's commercial, distribution and service network to stimulate growth.

The complementarity of the customer base and the product portfolio, combined with rapid development in the handling of new stylistic and engineering choices in boats, have made the acquisition particularly interesting in terms of growth for Sanguineti and the Quick Group, strengthening the role of go-to interlocutor for shipyards, shipowners and distributors.

“Sanguineti is a very well-known company in the nautical manufacturing sector, a point of reference for superyacht and megayacht shipyards for 65 years,” comments Lorenzo Cesari, CEO of Sanguineti Chiavari. “The objective we have set ourselves will lead to significant growth from many points of view, which we enthusiastically welcome and that we are sure will help us respond more and more easily and quickly to the needs and requests of our customers.

“In April we acquired Sanguineti with the intention of giving impetus to the Group's path to providing greater coverage of the superyacht and megayacht segment, which had already started with Quick designing and producing gyroscopic stabilisers, fins, windlasses and large propellers,” comments Michele Marzucco, CEO of Quick SpA. “ The acquisition of Sanguineti is a challenge for us that will expand our ability to control the national market.
