The Barcelona Boat Show announces the first major brands for its 2026 edition
Seven months ahead of its opening, the Barcelona International Boat Show has already confirmed the participation of more than 80 exhibitors, including some of the leading national and international brands in the nautical market. Sales for the event have got off to a very strong start, with almost half of the exhibition space already booked, pointing to one of the most extensive editions in terms of the range of models and lengths in recreational and sports boating.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), Spain’s leading boat show has already secured the attendance of major brands such as Aventura, Bali, De Antonio Yachts, Dufour, Girbau, Highfield, Honda, Karnic, Kawasaki, Kumbra, Leopard, Maxim, Pardo, Pirelli, Raymarine, Sasga, Saxdor and Sunreef, among many other renowned shipyards and brands. From October 14-18, the show will showcase a wide array of boats, from motor yachts to sailboats and catamarans of all sizes.
The President of the Barcelona International Boat Show, Luis Conde, said that “the strong response from the industry leads us to believe that this edition will be one of the best in recent years, further consolidating the event as the main commercial and informational showcase for Spain and Southern Europe.”
Meanwhile, the show’s Director, Josep Antoni Llopart, stated that “the positive results at the launch of this year’s sales campaign reflect the sector’s confidence in the Barcelona Boat Show as a strategic commercial platform and in its ability to generate business opportunities.”
Three docks, all types of boats
With the aim of enhancing the experience for exhibitors and visitors alike, the event will spread over three docks in Port Vell, with its exhibition organised by boat type and sector, and debuting new areas as well as on-water sea trial zones.
Moll de la Fusta will once again host the leading firms in motor yachts afloat, the sports boats and nautical equipment sector, and a covered pavilion dedicated to nautical leisure and marina promotion. Espanya and Marina Port Vell docks will serve as mooring areas for sailboats and catamarans, and will also host the Boat Show Village, featuring an Open Bar, a networking area and a restaurant offering high-quality cuisine.
The 2026 Barcelona International Boat Show is shaping up to be a must-attend event for professionals, companies and sea enthusiasts, strengthening its role as a key meeting point for business, innovation and the international projection of the nautical sector, while positioning Barcelona as a leading capital of sports and leisure boating.
