We are delighted to announce that the Asian Grand Premiere of the newest model from Lagoon catamarans, the Seventy 7, will take place in Hong Kong on 11 May 2017.

The famous GENTLE GIANT as smartly called by Multicoques Magazine, France arrived in Hong Kong mid-April after premiering at Cannes in September 2016 and in Miami in February 2017. She is now being commissioned at the Simpson Marine Service Centre, Aberdeen.

The new flagship Seventy 7 sailing catamaran is an impressive Lagoon success story and has been eagerly anticipated by many Lagoon owners who want to upgraded their yachts to bigger, customised units with a wealth of space and on board amenities.

After her official premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2016, the shipyard has already sold 15 units—a stunning international success for a new yacht of this size.

This beautiful new Lagoon flagship contains 4 socialising areas and 3 cabins, with 1 master and 2 guest cabins. Additionally, the yacht boasts a very comfortable crew area with galley and crew cabin, located starboard aft. The yacht was finished to a very high standard, in concert with the worldwide prestige of CNB, the Custom Yacht Building department of the Beneteau Group, comprising the Lagoon brand it its portfolio.

The Seventy 7's layout and interior finishes offer many customisations and innovative features, including an openable outside balcony, cleverly housed within the master cabin hull wall, a first on a catamaran.

On the occasion of this unique premiere, Simpson Marine is welcoming all Lagoon owners and buyers to join us at a Caribbean-themed event on 11 May 6-10:30PM at Aberdeen Boat Club, Middle Island to celebrate this unique yacht.

Guests will meet Yann Masselot, Lagoon and CNB General Manager, Thibaut de Montvalon, Beneteau Group APAC Director and the Simpson Marine team including Mike Simpson himself.

Sea trials for clients will be organised 8-10 May from the Simpson Marine Aberdeen Service Centre where the yacht is now being commissioned by the Simpson Marine Service team.
