Cannes, September 2025 – At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Nanni announced a strategic collaboration with EODev and EVE System, companies specialized in decarbonized energy systems based on hydrogen and batteries. The goal is to develop and bring to the market a new generation of hybrid and zero-emission solutions, designed for both superyachts and professional vessels.

The partnership is part of a broader framework of knowledge sharing and production scaling, key steps to accelerate the industrialization of these technologies and make them more competitive. At a time when the energy transition represents one of the main challenges for the maritime industry, cooperation among industrial players is increasingly crucial.

Areas of development

The solutions currently under development cover several areas of application:
   •   Integrated hotel load systems: combining batteries, hybrid gensets (diesel/HVO) and smart management systems, with the aim of reducing noise and emissions both at anchor and underway.
   •   Zero-emission hydrogen propulsion: through the integration of EODev’s REXH2, a type-approved marine fuel cell system.
   •   Port infrastructure: marinized hydrogen fuel cell generators and battery energy storage systems (BESS), designed to supply yachts at berth, terminals and port services with zero emissions.

Benefits for owners and captains

An additional feature of this offer is the introduction of marinized battery packs, which enhance comfort and onboard livability. Among the benefits: noise reduction, more efficient energy management, and silent operation both at anchor and underway.

Through this collaboration, Nanni, EODev and EVE System provide the yachting market with a portfolio of solutions that combine technological innovation, environmental responsibility and new operational opportunities, paving the way towards more sustainable and competitive boating.
