The award ceremony, held in front of Galata Museo del Mare and a few meters away from the Figaro Beneteau 3 fleet at the mooring after sailing from La Maddalena to Genoa, officially closed the 2022 edition of Eurosaf Mixed Offshore European Championship.

Organized by Sailing Series International in collaboration with the Lega Navale Italiana and Eurosaf, the event was won by the Mexedia Sailing Project which, led by Cecilia Zorzi, to the second consecutive success in the mixed offshore category, and Giovanni Di Monaco, completed the regatta with the time of 1d 19h 47m 27s.

After just over an hour and a half, Ali dell'Aria closed: the hull led by the D'Alì-Frascari duo reached the finish line after 1d 20h 53m 45s of navigation with a minimum margin on Elena and Carlos Manera who, engaged on board IREN, have misjudged the position of the finish line, finishing third by nothing.

Fourth place for POL/UKR, or Barbara Karpinska and Vladimir Kulinichenko, undoubtedly the combination that most of all went beyond the favors of the eve.

Rounding out the ranking, arriving between yesterday afternoon and today's morning, were Knuppel-Waksman, Faguet-Gerckens, Cantero-Hernandez, Ledgard-Beecher, Bauza-Merediz and Aalburg-Schwarz.

Once EMOEC 2022 has been archived, SSI is now looking to the Navy Nastro Rosa Tour, whose start is fixed from Genoa for the middle of June. As per tradition, the arrival is expected in Venice.
