After a two-year absence, the 2022 MYBA Charter Show is making a golden return to Marina Port Vell, Barcelona for its 32nd show from Monday 25th April to Thursday 28th April 2022.

As one of the most important industry-exclusive fixtures on the yachting calendar, the MYBA Charter Show (MCS) is an excellent example of MYBA's commitment to encouraging and upholding high standards across all spheres of the superyacht industry, whilst also being a true celebration of yachting.

Evolving with sophistication over 20 years, the show has a proven track record of excellence, bringing together a curated fleet of the latest superyachts and a qualified audience with the aim of promoting and supporting a sustainable yachting industry. This year will be another exhibition of luxury charter yachts, as well as services that are available for the yachting industry, appealing to top industry professionals from yacht charter companies and agencies from around the globe.

The agenda will be comprised of a diverse selection of yachts on display, workshops and glamorous social events. This year, the MYBA Superyacht Chefs' Competition will be focused on a 'Mediterranean Beach Picnic' theme, whilst the Steward and Stewardesses competition will be judged upon which crew can make the best 'Signature Beach Cocktail'.

Marking the beginning of the Mediterranean charter season, the MYBA Charter Show is as much a business occasion as it is a celebration of yachting. Taking place in one of the Mediterranean's most prestigious yachting hubs, complete with 151 Berths, 60 of which have been designed for superyachts, this is the ultimate first-class marina in an iconic city.

The show was last hosted in 2019, when it welcomed 60 Yachts, along with 616 captains and 2074 attendees. This year's MYBA Charter Show will be another opportunity for its attendees to appraise yachts available for charter, meet with captains and crew, and explore an exceptional array of ancillary services. This year will see vessels at the show start from 23 meters, with the longest yachts measuring up to 85 meters.

"We can't wait to welcome back attendees from across the globe and return with a golden year for the MYBA Charter Show. This year will be an incredible showcase bringing together the world's leading luxury yacht charter professionals as well as captains and crew onboard the top pedigree yachts.

This is certainly the place to be in April if yachting is your business and your passion" comments Armelle Dunphy, MYBA's Boat Show Coordinator.

Everyone involved in the MYBA Charter Show has been working hard for what promises to be a scintillating comeback, complete with a series of innovations and an enhanced environmental approach. It is part of MYBA's continuous effort to provide for industry needs and reflect the realities of a rapidly changing market and increased global thirst for yachting.

The Charter Show Committee is thrilled about the prospect of welcoming both returners and new attendees back to the 2022 MYBA Charter Show and for the occasion, a new gold and black limited-edition logo has been created to reflect MYBA's optimistic sentiments and celebratory approach to the show ahead.

"We have missed our show and welcoming our colleagues, friends and long-term partners. The past two years have been tough, but the yachting industry is stronger than ever and there's no better thing to do than to celebrate it and toast to an even brighter future ahead" adds Marta Iglesias, Chair of the MYBA Charter Show Panel.
