Presentation of the international jury of the Yacht Racing Image award 2024

The Yacht Racing Image Award today announced the members of its international jury. Soco Nunez de Cela (ESP), Chair, The Magenta Project, Andy Rice (UK), sailing journalist and commentator, Patricia Becker (NED), Exhibition Manager at METSTRADE, Carlos Pich (ESP), sailing journalist, and Shirley Robertson, double olympic champion and journalist, will select the best sailing photos of the year.

The fifteenth edition of the competition is open and professional photographers are invited to submit their best photo taken between 14 October 2023 and 13 October 2024. The twenty best images will be exhibited at METSTRADE in Amsterdam on November 19-21. 

The winners of the competition will be announced and celebrated during the Yacht Racing Forum on November 21 in Amsterdam.

The 80 best images (selected by the international jury) will be published on the event website on 17 October. The public will then have until 12 November to vote for their favourite photo.

The main prize, the Yacht Racing Image award, will be selected by the international jury, while the public prize will be based on the votes cast online. Finally, the Delegates Award will be based on votes by Yacht Racing Forum as well as Metstrade visitors.
