Red Yacht Design Celebrates the Launch of 44m. Orion One
The first yacht from Orion Yachts has touched the water, marking a new chapter ahead of sea trials and delivery.
ORION ONE, the first yacht from Orion Yachts, has been launched in Yalova, marking an important milestone for the new builder and the project team behind her.
With exterior and interior design by Red Yacht Design and naval architecture by Alfa Marine Design, 44m. ORION ONE is a steel-hull & aluminium superstructure motor yacht created for a modern Owner seeking comfort, efficiency, flexibility, and strong value in the sub-499GT category. Following her launch, the yacht is scheduled to begin sea trials next month, before her final delivery.
Currently offered for sale through Fraser Yachts, ORION ONE accommodates 12 guests in five staterooms and has a cruising speed of 12 knots. She brings together robust engineering, generous interior volume, and outstanding value per GT.
“Seeing ORION ONE in the water is a very special moment for us,” says Fatih Sürekli, Managing Director of Red Yacht Design. “She represents the beginning of a new story for Orion Yachts, and we are proud to have shaped both her exterior and interior identity. From the first sketches, our goal was clear: to create a yacht with real volume, real comfort, and real usability, without losing elegance or character. ORION ONE is a strong, honest yacht, and now that she has touched the water, that idea feels even more powerful.”

Designed around reliability, ease of operation, and efficient onboard flow, ORION ONE offers a layout optimized for seamless circulation between guest areas, crew operations, and technical spaces. Her proven systems and maintenance-focused design philosophy make her well suited for both private use and near-term charter programs.
The interior volumes are maximized throughout. A spacious main salon, dedicated formal dining area, and panoramic relaxation spaces create a calm and open onboard atmosphere. The yacht accommodates 12 guests across five staterooms, including a forward main deck Owner’s Stateroom with a fold-down balcony, offering a private connection to the sea. On the lower deck, two double staterooms and two twin staterooms with Pullman options provide flexibility for family use, guests, or charter needs.
Natural light, generous proportions, and an efficient beam define the guest experience. Every suite is designed to feel comfortable, functional, and refined, while the interior language remains warm, modern, and timeless.
Outdoor living is equally central to ORION ONE’s identity. The vast flybridge features a hot tub, al-fresco dining area, and lounge space, creating a social heart for the yacht. A sunbathing foredeck lounge offers a quieter retreat, while the upper deck aft provides another dining option for sunset meals and entertaining. Every exterior area has been designed to support a relaxed lifestyle at sea, with spaces that feel open, flexible, and connected.
“ORION ONE was developed with a strong focus on dependable performance, balanced engineering, and long-term usability,” says Cihan Sandıkçıoğlu of Alfa Marine Design. “Her steel hull gives her the strength and confidence expected from a yacht in this category, while the overall platform supports comfort, efficiency, and ease of operation. With sea trials approaching, we are proud to see the project reach this important stage.”
