Superyacht

09/10/2025 - 14:24

Royal Huisman has announced the Trident 810, a new 81-meter yacht designed for global cruising. This announcement follows the recent premiere of project AERA at the Monaco Yacht Show. The Trident 810 is based on the proven architecture of Royal Huisman's flybridge schooner and is designed by Dykstra Naval Architects and Mark Whiteley Design.

The yacht features contemporary lines with a plumb bow and a long waterline, complemented by a powerful Panamax rig. The sail area is substantial, with upwind sails covering 2,580 square meters. Despite its size, the yacht's advanced sail management system allows for efficient operation, enabling all three mainsails to be hoisted simultaneously in a short time.

The Trident 810 is constructed entirely of aluminum, offering ease of control similar to smaller vessels. This intuitive sail management system aims to attract even motor yacht owners by providing a seamless sailing experience and the advantage of wind propulsion. Built in Vollenhove, Netherlands, the Trident 810 adheres to Royal Huisman's high standards of performance and durability.

The yacht is equipped with top-tier onboard systems and designed for easy serviceability. Owners can expect a short project lead time, with delivery possible in just three years, allowing for a personalized and bespoke superyacht experience. Royal Huisman offers alternative profiles and layouts for the Trident 810, which can be viewed on their website.
