QS Seamaster: Thrusters for Every Boat, from Day Cruisers to Superyachts

This is the philosophy behind QS Seamaster, a brand by Saim Marine, which will be exhibiting at Metstrade 2025 (Hall 12, Stand 230), the world’s leading trade fair for marine equipment, components, and accessories, taking place in Amsterdam from 18 to 20 November.
The brand’s extensive lineup covers a thrust range from 30 to 1,400 kgf, including DC, AC, DC-AC brushless, and hydraulic thrusters, available in tunnel or retractable versions, with ON/OFF or proportional operation and analog or digital controls. This comprehensive portfolio serves all segments — from small leisure craft to large yachts and professional workboats.
Among the highlights at Metstrade 2025 is the expanded choice of materials: all thrusters with a diameter over 250 mm will now be available in NiBrAl alloy as well as in composite. This option gives owners and shipyards greater flexibility to select the most suitable solution based on vessel type, cruising profile, or budget, while maintaining QS Seamaster’s high-quality standards.
Every QS Seamaster model is built using high-strength components to ensure efficiency, durability, and long-term performance. The bronze gear leg, designed with an optimized hydrodynamic profile, minimizes turbulence, noise, and energy loss, while the microprocessor-based control system acts preventively in case of overheating, avoiding sudden shutdowns and preserving thruster functionality.
Additional design features include an easily replaceable aluminum anode and an exclusive flexible coupling that absorbs mechanical shocks, extending the lifespan of the system.
QS Seamaster also offers a dedicated line of control panels: analog ON/OFF touch or joystick panels, analog proportional panels for single-station installations, and digital proportional versions for multi-station systems, compatible with third-party integrations and tested to withstand the harshest marine environments.
