XENTA technology equips the new Nauta 108 Explorer by Cantiere delle Marche
In the panorama of new Explorer yachts, the Nauta 108 by Cantiere delle Marche — scheduled for delivery in 2026 — stands out for combining the contemporary elegance of its outfitting with advanced engineering solutions and technologies that not only represent the state of the art but also deliver the level of quality and reliability required for true long-range cruising in any sea of the world.
To emphasize this capability, the Ancona-based shipyard has selected XENTA, a company of the Quick Group, to supply the integrated steering and maneuvering systems of the Nauta 108, giving the captain not only a safe vessel but one that is particularly easy to handle.
This Nauta 108 represents an evolution of the previous 108-foot model from the Nauta Air line, featuring refined exterior lines and updated styling details that enhance its sleek and modern profile. Among the main differences compared to the first 108, the fashion plates — stylistic elements visually connecting the yacht’s decks — are now perfectly integrated with the large glass surfaces of the main deck. The forward area has been redesigned to accommodate a 6-metre tender and its dedicated crane.
The interiors are bright and open, with a layout that prioritizes generous volumes and onboard comfort. The owner’s cabin is located on the main deck, while the lower deck houses four spacious guest cabins. Social areas are designed to maximize outdoor living, featuring a wide cockpit with unobstructed aft views and a sun deck conceived for relaxation and conviviality.
Crew accommodations include five berths on the lower deck and the captain’s cabin adjacent to the wheelhouse on the upper deck.
The Nauta 108 is equipped with a complete XENTA control system, installed on three stations: one inside the wheelhouse and two wing stations to port and starboard. Each station is fitted with an X-Power throttle, ensuring precise power management and smooth gear transitions, and an X-Dock joystick, which — through the integrated Inertial Motion Unit (IMU) and compass — enables millimetric maneuvering with total safety and comfort.
The yacht also features the X-DP Dynamic Positioning system, which maintains the vessel’s position automatically without using the anchor, compensating for wind and current — an essential function when staying in protected marine areas or performing delicate boarding operations.
All onboard systems are distinguished by their high reliability and, thanks to sophisticated redundancy logic, ensure safe navigation even in the most demanding conditions.
Measuring 33 metres in length with a beam of 7.43 metres, the Nauta 108 is powered by two Caterpillar C18 Acert engines of 533 kW each, equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems compliant with the latest IMO Tier III emission standards.
The hull, developed by Cantiere delle Marche in collaboration with Hydro Tec, features a bulbous bow and flat aft sections to ensure fuel efficiency and stability under way, even in rough seas.
With this project, Cantiere delle Marche confirms its construction philosophy based on structural strength, functional technology, and onboard comfort, while XENTA consolidates its position in the high-end Explorer yacht segment, offering integrated control systems that raise safety and precision to new standards.
